I think I'm still mostly building my first team and learning the actual rotation. only Sanby is decently equipped, Orphie has handmedown records and a shitty wengine, and Nicole isn't even level 60. I mostly just wanted to get a baseline of where I was at with them.

Earlier this year I used to play an mmorpg and my guild had a few SEAmonkeys from Indonesia and the Philippines. They treat the monthly gacha sales as the biggest event of their month and they even call it pvp. Some would avoid playing altogether on the publication day, some would go afk and drop out in the middle of a dungeon run. I thought it was an actual PvP event because they called it gacha PvP, but one of them clarified after I bugged him a lot about it that, basically they’re all collectively shitting on each other for hours in comments about their game winning. No. Hugo is the only character where this is consistently a good idea, every other attacker wants to be on field whenever possible. The game sort of does a poor job of explaining it in the early missions, I think a lot of people pick up a bad habit of on-fielding Anby since she's easier to play and more visually interesting than Billy. As a general rule, only bring your stunner out to EX special or ult. Their defensive assist follow ups can also be good but don't worry about that for now. Your DPS should be out at least 75% of the time.

Mixture of both, depending on your agent, disk setup, and how much they need as far as resources (special meters, decibels, energy). Something like Zhu/Qingyi or Hugo will infact be very lopsided but Evelyn for example wants to build resources while Defensive Assisting onto Lighter/etc periodically to build up stun. Most agents are more similar to Evelyn than they are Zhu/Hugo.

Hmm... no. I think it's just because when you're early game, a lot of easy-to-stun mooks are best killed by pressing buttons on Anby into Billy (or any DPS) chains. The motion inputs are already fully extraneous, it's just his taunt and pre-combat shit. The taunt is purely flavor and the pre-combat HP drain is easy enough to input (and you can just keep trying repeatedly at no-risk) if you really care to do so. The people who can't do it won't want to.

They already reworked his parry but this one is more of an actual functional change, the game's input interpreter really hated the previous input and would often give you the no-invuln basic Special instead.

I like the Hollow combat themes that mostly play in the earlier levels, battle tower glory is great, Hugos combat theme matches the wild ride vibes of his fight, i suprisingly kinda like lady winters/the Terror raptors theme, the bigger issue with theost IMO is the audio balance, you basically can't hear some tracks because the combat sounds and dialogue lines are fucking loud and the music is subdued for some reason, it's the opposite of From Software where i have to turn down the music to hear everything else
