Don't worry about Inherits or Discipline until later when you have a better understanding of the game and its mechanics, and permadeath is only achievable if you're literally, and I mean literally, retarded. If a character's Fortitude is under 50, just don't resurrect them at the Church until it hits at least 51. That's it, you will never experience permadeath if you do this simple thing.

If they're below 50 Fortitude, there is a chance for resurrection(NOT reversal in combat, actual resurrection at the church) to fail and decay the body into ashes, then, if you do it again, the ashes will decay into nothing.

There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON for you to ever see ashes, as characters still regain Fortitude while dead, you have to actually be braindead or purposefully be fucking yourself over to ever lose someone.

Im the anon that started playing last thread, for now Im just having a feeling for the dungeon and Im wondering a few things, what roles are backline and which are frontline? or that can depend on what weapon they are carrying? like I imagine bows dont get affected by the damage penalty from being backline.
Also, I just rolled the 20 regular bones (feels kind of weird that the tickets here are basically bones of dead people), and I haven't touched the special bones, can I just roll them from the start, or can they be buffed If I go through the plot more? Im mostly asking because every roll gives a random amount of bonus stats.

Climbing from doll harken or fortress 2f minor harken if either of those points are 0 corrosion when you wheel to them is a safe method too. Once you beat the mastermind 0 corrosion ending it doesn't matter if you still have missing flags your triumph cursed wheel will be 0 corrision.

Usually buff with MC/Abenius turn 1, then debuff with Alice and Sheli turn 1. I try to let Yek turret as much as possible cause I got those earth books from back in the early days when they had that event for 'em so she has pretty good earth magic available. Ninja is pretty sick with dual wield so I had dual daggers on MC to help Abenius burn arms and Kunai on Yuzu to help with ranged. Basically everyone in the party is capable of buffing/debuffing or both and everyone except Yuzu has eaten a copy of Alice at least once so everything lasts a generous amount of time.

FPS is used for SP efficiency and not the damage. Heavy 3/4 on the MC is already spending a lot more SP. You can also have him use battle cry for more damage every turn.

Fighters lose FPS when they class change. You could upgrade heavy attack on a thief or knight CC so that their damage can keep up with fighters.
