That sounds normal to me. Are you asking for a reliable, surefirey way to negate DPs? What the fuck would be the point of DPs then? A DP is a "get the fuck off me" special, it's basically a reset to neutral from the attacker being too reckless in his offense, you can still hard bait them and if you do then the defender will eat massive fucking shit for it.
It's fine as it is, if you eat too much DPs to the point you're basically asking for them to be changed that they have a perfect answer, then the issue is on your end and your offense.
