For those stuck on 1-07 (Krolik stage) she is susceptible to stun, taunt, and command prohibition. She can also be movement debuffed so applying Frigid also works also since that makes her unable to move.

One easy method of killing her is to simply bring Nagant. She doesn't need her expansion key. As long as Krolik has a defense debuff Nagant will stun her two times in a row (Enemy Krolik gets two actions in this event so she must be stunned for two turns). To guarantee the defense debuff condition is met just bring QJ along. And while Nagant doesn't need her key for this to work, it is simpler if she has her key since you get one stun for free. I did this without the key though so you can save 3 cores if you want.

You still have to contend with her overburn damage so make sure you heal it. Space your dolls two tiles apart so Krolik can't position between two dolls, otherwise she may not move on her 2nd turn and then Nagant's passive won't proc since her ~~vision~~ passive is based on movement. If you don't like the Nagant method then try loading her up with taunt, Tololo Stun, and movement debuffs, especially Frigid which makes here unable to move at all.

So she's one of those after all

Recently did a massive purge of inactives. Platoon is a pretty chill one where all that is asked is that you don't vanish for more than a week and do your funsmoke runs when it's open.

The game has a ridiculous amount of busywork for a gacha game. The final straw for me was phase clash. I've done it once with a single team and never again. I don't even care that my dolls are effectively gimped because I barely interact with the remolder shit, I just can't deal with it anymore. Heroic was very fun this time and I really enjoyed the two challenge stages with Krolik. This is the first time I've ever used Nagant on real content and l think I'm going to raise her properly now and get her real attachments. She pairs well with QJ and I already have a well built fire team to slot her in to as a QJ partner. It makes the event enjoyable to read when the stages backing it up are somewhat interesting instead of 1 turn clears like it used to be.

I finished the entire event. I enjoyed it, especially the Heroic modo this time which was pretty fun and didn't have annoying modifiers. However, the story was a bit weak. Mostly because a weak and ineffectual villain makes for a weaker story.

The villain was entirely a wet noodle. Too early to really say more than that without spoilering anons, but I wish he had a stronger presence. It's more entertaining to defeat a strong villain than a weak and pathetic one. I did enjoy the concepts presented though:

What was your team because I did the same exact thing and auto'd every stage by just getting stab break to 9/9. Keep in mind your buffs from leveling up reset so it's technically harder from that perspective alone. Not sure if anything else changed but you can definitely power through by autoing with the right team + stab break.

Not much synergy in this team imo. Try to grab the corrosion dolls I mentioned whenever they pop up. You should have refreshes unlocked now since it's the first upgrade you get on the upgrade chart. Your future runs should be easier because of this.

You can clear with a good fire team too btw if you prefer that, but the corrosion team + one ringer does excellent so if you can get them and don't otherwise care, go for them.

Events give out quite a lot. Remember to also grab all the shop stuff. Once you're max level roll for the cat boxes and recycle all the purple weapons for doritos to get more rolls. You probably got bunch of doritos already from rolling for Nikketa so turn those into more rolls too. Then just do the daily chores which is platoon thing, combat training thing and other dailies. I have the monthly too cause its pretty cheap so that certainly helped me to stockpile stuff for lind I mainly use the ingame currency from the monthly to buy Costumes, like the lind's beach costume on this patch.

Once you start with stab break you're more likely to get more stab break cards early on. Stack them until you get 9 of them. You can auto the entire mode with the stab break set including the final bosses.

As for your team, start with a bunch of aoe dolls. You can always pick Zhaohui from the beginning so grab her. Prioritize:
>Lind
>Klukai
>Mechty
>Kot
>Springfield
If you find yourself missing one of the 4 corrosion dolls listed there just leave Zhaohui in your team you'll be fine. You can just press auto the entire time even from the very first stage if you do this.

hmm, my team was Makiatto, Lind, Mechty, Jiangyu and Springfield.
I don't think that's a horrible team. And yet I couldn't kill the Armorbreak boss even after 12 turns. I was able to deal 15% damage to it's health the first two turns, but the moment it puts up it's shield it takes like 3 turns to break and then it takes zero extra damage the rest of the run.
I'm not sure if it's some kind of glitch.

What set did you prioritize? If you prioritize Stability Break the mode plays itself, it probably doesn't even matter what your team is. Every 3 cards of the stab break set gives you a set bonus, up to 9 cards total. It becomes insanely strong and even clears most stages at the start of the turn before your dolls even attack with some of the bonuses you get.

Just try that next time if you want to breeze through it.

It wasn't a glitch the bosses have an insane amount of HP. It's intended you stack a specific set to 9/9 to max out your set bonuses. Stab break isn't the only set that has bonuses, but it's one of the best ones. You could for example stack the fire set and choose a bunch of fire dolls and still clear if you wanted to, but it's worse than just taking stab break ~3 corrosion dolls + 2 ringers.
