Is luna the worst at healbotting? The best healbots can consistently either pierce, auto aim, heal separately from their primary or has some sort of get out of jail for free card. Luna of course has some of these traits in her clap, stun and flake, but to me that doesn’t seem to be enough for her to AFKing like a rocket would. Is she really meant to be used therefore more offensively as mini hela, not just helping by healing but as to help the frontline as a DPS support? The core problem with the game is stagnation and lack of variety. They have 100% entirely relied on the very shallow hero releases, which wasn't that effectively for a number of reasons.
Their limited modes have all been shit and the new mode Resource Rumble had potential but they fucked it up with the excessive rumble period and using the shitty Klyntar theme.
Zombie mode, despite being subpar as hell, is at least a PvE mode with some replayability, which is the only mode worth a shit they have released in terms of creating variety and filling a separate niche with PvE.

What the game actually needs is a more robust rebalancing to make playing pretty much all heroes more exciting again and changing things up, add more depth and /or gameplay variety to the heroes (perks, equippable abilities, etc), ditch the dumb team-up system and replace it with something fixed and better and not something that only activates with certain heroes and doesn't rotate out.
Live service games NEEDS to make playing the game feel varied and fresh. Otherwise they will just go to Fortnite or something that gets regular gameplay changing updates.

No idea what the chinks intended, they're kinda clueless when it comes to hero design. Currently Luna's job is to healbot and maybe shoot enemies a little bit when the chance opens up and healing isn't needed.

I think there’s a limit to the amount of targets luna can realistically heal consistently, whenever her clap is on a cooldown. The nature of high single target heals means you would have to switch between targets constantly within chokes, making her heals less consistent and falls off as the fight goes. Of course if you have a smaller pool of heroes to heal, her healing becomes both easier and more powerful, so her having a dive hero or a flyer to keep a flake on helps. I don’t think running luna in a brawl front to back comp would be as good though. But again I’m not totally sure

The problem with many healers in this game is that their heals have no cooldown and are often tied to their main attack (or can't attack and heal at the same time). This combined with their actual attacks not being very strong or limited means the healers turn into healbots.

Meanwhile take a hero like MalDamba. His main heal is on a 3s cooldown and he has an aoe damage+heal ability. This means he can throw out an aoe effect to heal and/or deal damage and use main heal, but then leaves a window for when he can attack because he can't heal at that time anyway.
This prevents him from being a healbot.

The PF has always been tied to Jean, its literal first introduction involved Jean. Angela is by far the worst character that has ever been added to this game and I still believe making a flying tank was a bad idea. On top of having a snatch as annoying as Wolverine’s, she gives the enemy tanks no one to engage with making it miserable to tank against her, and for her own team she ignores her role as a tank meaning they have no frontline or protection if she’s solo tanking.
