Speaking of Sonic and going back to your point of how she's in the spirit of Sonic, I think that's shown pretty well by how they get along even in their very first meeting. They aren't exactly the same but there's plenty enough similarity there to vibe with one another.

Ian: No. If anything, they were surprisingly receptive. Like when we showed Blaze's palace. That had never been established before and we asked specifically "Is there any unused concept or is there anything that we can do to be in line with the concept?" They didn't have art specifically but they did have design notes and technology levels and general themes to follow and so we designed it off of that. As far as I know that's kind of the working concept for it now? Maybe? The thing with the Sol Dimension is that it's just really hard to get to. You can only get there via the sol emeralds and those are only held by Blaze so to bring anyone there you have to have a bit of a circumstance. Blaze has to Ferry people over. There's Sonic Rush Adventure where it was vague how it happened, but I think ultimately it's kind of implied that the emeralds worked together, maybe?
