They've made that significantly safer. Removing the gem or otherwise making your armor unusable from stat fuckery just dumps the bodies onto the floor again.
The issue I have is that unless you get % regen for minions(Which there is one(1) notable) then he'll eventually die from slip damage.

I'm still working on the atlas so I don't have any eldritch implicits yet, that makes sense thanks.
For the weird tree, it's because I don't think I have anything else to put points into aside from life/es/eva nodes until I get clusters, but yeah I'll probably respecc some of the points up top to those instead.

But what about my gear? Is it decent or are there points of improvement. I think my next gear upgrade should be a body armour with good mods, and as for the weapon I think the type of Cane of Kulemak I need is about 20 divs..

yes. level 30 ID and does 6106 to 9158 base damage. compare this to 1654 to 2481 of a level 20. you aren't going to be doing ubers and t17s cheap with it, but it's a map blaster and it'll carry you through 98% of the game on a ~10 chaos budget.

Some maps have extremely bugged spawns.
Simply put, they have fixed, invisible spawns in addition to the visible ones.
And many of them can spawn outside of the play area, so on narrow corridor maps, you'll often get significantly less mobs because fuck you.

It's pretty fun but the damage output is rough sometimes. Feels awkward jumping into a blue pack in an incursion and the hit damage is low enough that they live for 1-2s before the bleed pops em. Bossing is also a pain and I'm normally pretty tanky but sometimes I just get vaporized and I hate it, and I'm frankly a bit too nervous to even try for the last two voidstones.
Not sure what I'd reroll to if I rerolled though. Only got like 4d. My gear isn't incredible but I'm concerned I won't be able to get much more out of upgrades and I don't want to end up sinking 50d into a build that can't handle T17s.

I've run about 100 alch and go maps now with 0 T17s dropped. Something is a little fucky. Before that I had run about 100 maps with 0 ancient wombgifts so I changed my arms to be +210% chance for ancient wombgifts.

Dust is currently cheap so it's only 5c for each shipment.

Would you be able to post an example of how you think it should look? Either someone else's or your own if you have the time. I'm not sure about that gear bit, it's not great but I've spent a couple of divs on it already and even comparing it all in pob I couldn't find anything with comparable stats to my current chest for less than the 1d I spent on it. Also I do have a cluster jewel but as you can tell I'm not high enough level to be able to fully round it out yet
Respeccing is kind of pricy even just using orbs for the points and it's so hard to tell how everything interacts, I don't know what I don't know and that's the biggest problem

So I ripped a chaos occultist, and decided to try Cold Dot Elementalist.
What exactly is the upside of playing cold dot?
Minimum 2 button build which is fine. Wintertide, requires Brand investment which doesn't help anything else. Going Vortex/Creeping Frost/Cold Snap can be combo'ed together, but they require mobs to stand in it or fairly significant AoE investment.
I can't help but feel that ignite would simply be better and I'm wasting time.

but those boots dont scale with cast speed, they scale with arcane surge effect. you can kinda get some on penance brand because youre close to the 3 point mana wheel with arcane surge effect but it sounds kinda shit

I mean it's not a wand build but I walked into ubers day 3 with 2 mod recombed + bench wands. I find that PF prolif is enough for regular mapping but you can gemswap to WoC of trarthus for better clear if you want. Or play the madness boots version, that has giga explode.
