It was basically originally 83-86 floors (can't remember the number) every 10 floors was a boss fight. There wasn't torments from memory but the tarrague and death limits did exist. I had a run on beta where I was moving at the speed of light and clear floors in like 30seconds near the end and it was honestly very reminiscent of a good run of a rogue like.

That being said there's an actual issue with torghast where the pool of powers is too small to support long runs and you actually get 0 powers from anima orbs.
