Is a good portion of your problem since the first strike advantage in this is so immense and TTK so low. By the time you start returning fire, your shields will be broken and they'll already be half a second away from killing you. If someone doesn't respond to Don't Shoot, Greet, or a mic hello in a reasonable few seconds, consider them hostile to the point of murdering them the moment the opportunity presents

Go into practice range with a Stitcher and kettle the two best freenig pvp weapons, and get a bit of practical experience killing the first and middle dummies. After getting a feel for them, go ambush poor bastards in the wild. Knock down a few people at extractions and finish them off to kill what's left of your HESITATION TO SLAUGHTER. Buried City is a shitzone pvp fest that can serve as a good training location.

I think the Epic tier rarity is fitting, its Heavy ammo and has strong ARC armor penetration. It doubles up as both a PVP & PVE weapon.

You could practically run this weapon alone. The literally first and only time I found it I managed to kill someone with it and it was only II. I bet IV must feel good

I ran a IV a couple of times just to see what it's like, I felt completely ripped off. It genuinely just felt plain bad in terms of damage and the drawbacks (if you use it with a heavy shield you literally can't move faster than a walk without sprinting with it in your hands for example), and a single raid used 40 durability, which costs a fuckton of resources to repair.

I'll be honest, I just ran it in the practice range and it definitely has its drawbacks. Its punchy and seems best with a silencer II if you already have a vert grip because it has good stability.

Except... it takes 9 bullets to down a light shield. I guess that's the tradeoff of being able to reload the entire mag at once. This is definitely a 'shoot first' gun

Every time I've ever done a night raid, it's insanely not worth it. Extra ARC everywhere so you can barely move outdoors. Everyone knows it's KOS so you can barely move indoors. Maybe there's extra loot (it isn't noticeable thought at all) but why would that matter, everyone has to take the same 2 extract points that are open so you'll be lucky to extract with any loot at all. Basically night raids, other than giving you the 2XP for trials, increase the number of lootable containers. More lootable containers = more loot and a better chance to find epic or blueprints. It's more noticeable if you loot an area over and over. For example the offices at Buried City will have more computers, drawers and server racks at night. However you have to compete with bloodthirsty players so the best way to farm at night would be to stay away from high tier loot zones. Locked rooms are always stacked with stuff so it doesn't apply to them. An exception could be with breachable rooms that don't require the key but I haven't done much testing on that.

From my personal experience (48 hours) I've found that you have better chance at finding good loot just because the number of containers have doubled. I have had raids at night where I got out with just green and blues and daytime raids where I was getting out with my backpack almost filled with purples. You gotta know what to hit and have a bit (read a lot) deal of luck.
Personally having to deal with a lot of rats and the dark (I don't turn up my gamma and most of the raid I stare at a black screen) makes it unrewarding for me.

But as I've said this comes from a personal experience. There is no official response from Embark on exactly how night raids and loot tables in general work.

None of them. The best defense is rolling. KOSniggers fire as fast as they can. If you can dodge two shots, you can dodge every shot. The nignogs really like the ferro, which has a really easy fire rate to clock.

first press hide all, then press "Baskets" to filter their locations, some of them you can click on to see exactly where the spawn is, go in naked or low budget or free loadout, whatever you prefer, make a route from where you spawn to an extraction, loot baskets on the way
