Oh yeah, cutscene is in-engine, so you get too see the chat right above the ship, over the deck, first seconds of the game. Can't find the video and mb they've patched it finally, but definitely happened to me in previous expansion. You can skip pretty much everything in wow with gold. Hows the daylie grind? I quit wow and gw2 8 years ago because I cannot be bothred to log in daylie and do stuff for an hour I dont want to do in order to have matericals/resource to play the things I actually enjoy. Also is dungeons/fractals still just stacking in corner and rolling into it?
What I loved is exploring each area and finding the hidden jumping puzzle, that was fun and I heard the expansions have even better zones than basegame.

It pretty much depends on what you want to do and get out of the game. You can spend all day every day on once-daily completion bonuses, or spend a couple hours working toward a specific Legendary or whatever other achievement, or you can just do whatever seems appealing without any routine and you'll still have something to show for it that you can put toward some other goal later.

Unfortunately you will need to do exactly that if you ever want to roll a new spec, at least to get fully geared up. Wizard's vault gives you a few pieces every refresh, but it'll still take months if you only go through that route without doing PvE.
If you don't mind having a ~7% disadvantage in WvW then you can just use orange gear, which is easy to acquire with raw gold. But regardless this is definitely a PvE focused game.

LW3 and LW4 maps can be kind of sleepy and that's probably exaggerated by the expansion launch, yeah.
The best way to do it if you're finding unpopulated maps is to just work on whichever map is in "Daily Living World Season 3" for that particular day, and focus on anything in the Aurora collections that's harder to do solo. Usually there's only a few things per map that you actually need a population for.

Anet needs to go over the underwater skills and streamline/fix a lot of their shit. Vindicator dodge is still broken and borderline unusable underwater and i just discovered that while Spike Trap on ranger can be used underwater its got nearly DOUBLE the cooldown of the land version. The only underwater skill that should go untouched is the evade frames on the Toolkit auto attack

I got used to seconds one, don't mind it as much now. Movement attacks tend to throw you right under the drill tho, like ranger sword. And seeing red circles is impossible with the area target you suppose to follow. Also it's a tad too long than it needs to be with the two parts and platform movement and 3 illusion rounds. All in all not completely terrible, but not that fun either.
I think me liking the maps overall way more than SotO and Janthir ones contributes to my tolerance level.

What made Mag win was that for an entire decade every veteran player who no longer needed pips did one of two things: you either server transferred to Mag because you didn't give a shit about WvW's unique gameplay and just wanted to spawncamp, or every 3 weeks your guild transferred to a bottom tier team to play against the other organized WvW guilds that also transferred.
Mag won because the format of old WvW made it so a server where 99% of people were dedicated WvW players (because newbies couldn't roll onto it) faced servers of exclusively mid-rank pip farmers (because vets that did like WvW's actual gameplay would dodge Mag) where the remaining vets just took the week off.

That shit doesn't exist in Alliances, and no matter how badly you're getting stomped it's not because you're on the losing end of a decade of server stacking shenanigans.
