Another thing I put off since this project was a working backpack. (I limit inventory slots to 3 for mobile and tablet). It was fucking annoying having to drop all my tools to have access to another one, or even just have it in the first slot.

It's really good but it could be better. It's on the CUSP of being a masterpiece of not only Roblox but modern gaming in general, I swear.
My main issue is the combat. It's a Paper Mario inspired Deckbuilder but there's limited build variety leading to boring repetitive strategy.
I'd like to give criticisms to the developers but it's too popular, so I guess I'll just post this into a thread to be seen by like 10 anons who barely care (hah)

I have played both Paper Marios, Earthbound (+ Mother 3), Bug Fables and the literally who Born Of Bread. I know the genre and the combat is lacking (not as much as the modern PM trilogy lmao) . But there's potential there. The thing is they KEEP FUCKING NERFING EVERY FUN STRATEGY.
Regardless, it's cool. For a Free Experience it's better than 99% of the site.

My opinion from the chapter is that the player looked kinda evil in it, the captain was cool, friendly and caring until the very end, then you simply try to slip through and reach the sword while they are not watching despite the captain and calypso commenting multiple times with the players to leave the sword since the sacrifice thing was way too dangerous, to a point it feels chapter 3 wouldve fit being after chapter 4 so the player would be cleansed of the greed and negative thoughts or maybe something that justifies your actions a bit more, the captain went full possessed in seconds while you did nothing but rush for the sword, the one trying to be the reason was calypso.

Over the course of a few months I tried my best to create a game that looked at the general elements of old Roblox games (especially Apocalypse Rising) and attempted to turn it into a fast paced minigame shooter. I also took a look at some old arena shooters for inspiration, and one big movement mechanic that my friends appreciated was the ability to bunnyhop and jump off of explosions.

No. You still have to fuck around with metatables. Types do literally nothing, they said they were going to add native code generation to improve performance back in 2020 or so and they needed to add types for this to work.
Types are basically like C++ variable types i.e.

The type keyword is used for defining custom types, but "type" is already a built-in vanilla lua function so they had to adapt it to be both usable for checking the type and defining the type, because removing the type() function in favor of typeof() would've broken some games.
You know what's the best thing in all of this? Types don't do shit. Not using types will fill your script editor with warnings and "type errors" (which mean nothing) and clutter everything to hell, but the script will run perfectly fine.

I swear to god every game throws me off, every one of them screams like slop, and even the high effort games scream slop, roblox is so fucking boring, I am literally resorting to playing old roblox shit or any small projects from better discovery and those can get a bit stale too because not enough playing are playing them despite being actually good, Also the userbase is complete ass, the good ones hangout in old roblox servers now, whats the point anymore, not to mention most of them lack creativity and just ripoff whatever shit thats on steam, because roblox players are mostly poors, who cannot afford a pc, It all feels soo graphical slop, I genuinely cannot find anything big and decent, And I don't wanna play horror garbage slop too, and I hate developers are trying to make their games like as if their indie games on steam when their just boring ass slop like regretavtor, deep woken, or pressure.
