It's not actually even good in a double debuff team because it makes everyone conserve stamina.

There's a reason why JP patched position keep 3 years ago because of front Urara + any great escapers, you're slowing everyone down while the escapers are still running at the correct pace, the 3rd horse in your team can just be anyone. You can try it yourself in the L'Arc scenario when it comes to Global.
In Global without another front to break Urara position keep, the middle leg will take much longer because everyone is slowing down but the stamina drain rate is still the same making late/end runners easier to catch up because they have the highest late game acceleration rate. Acceleration skills will also suddenly be much more powerful than velocity skills turning the last leg into 'whoever has more late acceleration skills wins'.
If you want to know how JP killed front Urara cheese, if there are no other front runners they simply promote the pace chaser with the most guts stat into the front role but without the 1.4 fatigue penalty which is really good.
Also you might want to clarify in the sheet that Power improves your speed when moving sideways (0.4m/s / 10 power to be exact).
The game is already reverse-engineered, at this point we are just waiting for the next crazy card after Almond Eye (4 gold skills from events is crazy). For Global it will be Seiun Sky parent to exploit her unique skill (not a must have, just that you won't have to borrow her every time to train sprinters).

debuffers are irrelevant for a high roll horse, just get more stamina and you'll have enough. there's a degree of consistency where nice nature isn't guranteed to proc all her skills and you get multiple runs to roll for this.
we've been running daily runs in our clan with even as many as 4 debuffers in one race and even then random oguri pace chasers with 1000 stam and 2 golds and maruzensky+taiki are beating good goldships at some frequency. if she's the dedicated pace chaser front runner, in some cases you can even dodge the skill by being out of range. (rare)
just to further hammer this point home, i'm running a 1200 stam horse with 3 golds and 3 silver recoveries as my third ace. if you high roll a horse like this, it doesnt matter if you are playing against 2 debuffers or 4, you'll have enough stamina, if not to win outright then to outlast every other horse atleast.

it's good because if she's the only front runner she forces everyone behind her. then it's just a game of who has more velocity/acceleration skills for last spurt. if there wont be other front runners and you can proc tail wind high, you will beat any other team without this skill. we saw this in a clan friendly once with a guy running a pace chaser maruzensky + end closer goldship. he won even though his stats were much worse than the rest of ours, just because he had a way to proc all the skills at the right timing and he had extreme stamina focus for his umas. (similar to my third ace).

Let's say someone highrolls a horse with that much stamina. You (not you specifically) are not going to win either way. But with multiple debuffs you can easily kneecap a decent horse, which will be the majority of opponents. Obviously you have a lot of experience and are in the top percentile, but nobody else here would consider a 1200 speed 1000 stam horse with good skills random - it's almost out of reach. Let alone a 1200stam 3gold horse (which I've tried to make unsuccessfully).

its fine to run double debuffers targetting the above average horse of 1200 spd, 900 stam, 2 golds, but realize you need your own horse to be better than theirs anyway.
that 1200 stam horse i'm using doesn't have capped speed, she's a 800 spd 1200 stam with pretty bad skills outside of stamina recovery. doesn't even have the "core" unique skills like maruzensky or taiki since she was bred for a stamina spark from generics without green skills, and just happened to high roll on the 2 speed cards i was running.
practically, you should be aiming for 2 aces minimum because you won't beat high roll horses with debuffers and having 2 aces will do a huge amount for your chances to win. it doesn't take much for a good horse to brick. many gold ships have lost because they don't proc pump their iron skill at the right time and many pace chasers have lost because they got blocked by some blokes solo front runner who ran out of stamina.
if you're running single ace, it better be a godlike ace where all you need is small velocity debuff to make sure she wins everything.

My main ace Oguri wins about 50% of the time: medium S, 1200/730/700/340/400, Taiki + Maru + Daiwa, 2 golds + 1 silver. Has below average skills otherwise. Not enough optional races done and poor spark luck in terms of hints for Taiki/Maru.
My second ace Agnes Tachyon wins about 30% of the time: medium S, pace S, 1100/770/690/400/450, 1 gold + 1 silver, otherwise very good velocity skills. Maru + Oguri uniques. Dies to debuffers but is better than the Oguri because of the skills if not facing any or only one. Notably, doesn't have tail held high.
My third ace Mcqueen wins about 20% of the time: medium A, pace S, 830/1200/720/580/320.
3 golds, 3 silvers, few speed skills, only tail held high, curvature and passives. She can proc tail wind high on last spurt with 777, but it comes down to RNG. has only Mcqueen and Daiwa specials. Might be suitable for the long CM. Most of the wins happen when she's the dedicated front runner pace chaser because then she can activate tail wind high with Daiwa special and Mcqueen special on 777m. Rarely she can also win with professor of curvature on last corner to replace Daiwa ult, though usually this involves the opponent horse dying and blocking the other pace chasers.

Well, the point is that this is going to be about the level in group A. I think most of the horses in group A will be able to tank stamina debuffs. Velocity debuffs are a different story. Grass Wonder + Agnes debuff combo is probably fine, especially with a end closer, but believe me when I say for consistency you'd rather run a decent second ace, even if she's not as good as the main one. Debuffing speed is only like 1 length, which is easily negated by just having something like double circle medium straightaways extra compared to the opponents ace. The impact is not that significant. Certainly not useless, but only if you ace is stacked in skills to the point where -1 length is big enough to boost your win rate a lot.
As for preparation, well, I'm expecting a lot of people using double debuffers or single debuffers. Atleast among the people preparing for CM already. Even I have a prepared stamina debuffer nice nature, just in case I decided to not use mcqueen or agnes. It's viable to use one for sure. The same way, using a single haru urara front runner is viable.

For front runners, the key skill is "Groundwork", not early lead. Early lead is budget Groundwork. This is the real issue with front runners, the only practical source of this is a white spark after using either the Oguri power card, or the guts card that has it. So you need to raise parents with groundwork on top of the normal good sparks, meaning you need way more focus and good RNG to make these horses. Also you need 2 front runners always, to ensure that there is competition between them.
You basically need to super high roll multiple times on both the parents and inheritances to raise a good enough front runner.

don't bother with 1200 unless you're aiming for stamina sparks for a parent horse. (in which case, aim for 1100 after ura, and just make a deck that gets 600 speed, or even less than that if you have skills to rely on)
you're not gonna hit that and speed unless you're absolutely giga high rolling and hitting 3x+ rainbows constantly on speed or stam.

We played Pairs, then some shithead/suitcase/whateveryourcountry calls it bar-type card games, some poko, waifu top trumps, build a waifu game (was actually pretty fun), and Pairs again but with waifus. We also fit in about 3 rounds of a tenhou game on guest logon on the tablet before grinching... It was fun.

No microphone necessary for TTS so feel free to join without one we use mostly text anyway. Though if you're suggesting a game it can be easier to explain on mic if it's a little more complicated than basic Uno/TopTrump types of games. If someone has a VR headset please wear it and join the next TTS session because I still find the view model hilarious.
