Breed, max condense, and work suitability book some petillias jellroys and jellietes to permenetly solve any food problems, apart from just betterr pals I've personally never stacked plantations so it could be there's some weird interactions. I don't know why there would be when everything else stacks fine but if you're getting weird ratios it may be worth just trying the classic 3x3 donut with a cooler and feedbox in the middle.

1) stay in range so he uses the beam on you and you gotta dodge it (by moving back. Do NOT go forward) but also make sure you're not near the combat pals as the AOE is pretty big

After that, it's not that bad. Rescue tactics work again so you can have a few on pick up duty. Set up walls if you need cover for the barrage of attacks.

If all the youtubers are doing shit on "official" settings with only 15 base pals, then any raid would be easy as fuck with 50 base pals, the number everyone actually uses, wouldn't it?

Celesdir (Beast of Salvation) doesn't have the word Legend in its title, nor lore on the calamity or world tree in its entry or elsewhere.
Both pals would be deers tied to giant tree landmarks, with the crystallized ancient tree being a subtle parallel to the world tree.

2 uses cases afaik
1) Your base is huge so having another spot to organize pals at the base is useful. For example, having the breeding ranch on the 4th floor and you wanna swap out pals. Using the pal control device saves you time.
2) For raids. You can have another spot to swap out pals at the edge of the base perimeter instead of being in the center. Can also set up the edge areas to be pal pods+defensive walls too while you're at it.

I decided to take a few minutes and monitor the behavior of the Pals in the base and the state of the plantations.

There was no issue with the watering and the gathering, but I did notice that my Pals weren't seeding like half of the plantations. Then I started tailing my the Planting Pals and noticed that only Lyleen and Lullu were doing the seeding while two Verdash and Prunelia were roaming around the base transporting crops but not actively helping with seeding the plantations, thus Lyleen and Lullu were sort of stuck on a loop seeding and gathering between a handful of plantations.

So, I fixed the issue by turning off the transport skill of the two Verdash and Prunelia.

If you place two large fishing ponds on top of each other, or one large fishing pond above water, when you pass under the upper fishing pond but above the lower one you will be instantly teleported underneath the bottom of the upper fishing pond.

If you surrounded your base with a ring of max-height and floor level fishing ponds, raids would automatically defeat themselves because they would be teleported to max height, swim out of the water, and fall to their death.

This might work on boss-type raids, but I haven't checked yet. Moon Lord floats, so he can't die from fall damage, but I HAVE killed Bellanoir with fall damage in earlier patches.

Use to have this at my base with cakes. In my case for some reason they are pathing to a chest they don't think they can reach while staying in the base, and if they stay too long on the outside with the item they drop it and try again. You can try moving anything that might interrupt their pathing or put a box for fruit next to the tree so they just go to that one.

I set up save file monitoring.
this does two things, it protects from the server autosave bug.
it also protects from crashes taking the server down for extended periods of time, since the server stops saving when it crashes.
in the worst case, the server may be down for up to 10 minutes after a crash.

by doing this I bumped the restart interval to 12h, if you all want I can bump it to 24h. by default that is 0 and 1200 utc, so what like 800 and 2000 east coast america, 24h would be 2000 only. I'm too lazy to google how to change that but if you do want it moved then give me the crontab values
