Back then in the original Black Survival 2D game, all deals damage. Some damage can be converted to support abilities to yourself or team so literally all characters are considered DPS/AD. They get to be Top Li Dailin etc.. ERBS later on had the same logic but changed it to squad because of its dumbass playerbase to properly play the game and be a dipshit parasite to the team. It was too unforgiving for mere normies (you included)

Johann could literally kill as a priest or change it to outhealing himself as an example.

They've yet to revamp it yet. You have to stick with squads if you only simps for this support based characters until they get revamped for all skills acquiring damage details.

We had perma death and shit. The whole skill loadout was revamped for these characters with the squad changes. There's no such thing as meme builds it was literally like CLOSERS format. No classes just melee or range types with certain buffs/debuffs for auxiliary support for yourself or team.

These useless faggots can't be top of their game since they don't know how to win with purple weapons immediately right at the start. Perma death got changed to 3 respawns then time limited respawn locks.

They begged for ERBS devs to change its format like LOL cucks and be a support and be a parasite the whole match. Heals or no heals, CC or not or intentionally forgot. It doesn't matter as long as you have the "I'm SUPPORT" card bullshit for the reason you can't be blamed despite your room temperature IQ existing. Same applies to tank roles. As long as they keep dying and be fodders they can't be blamed also. All responsibilities goes to dealer.

How do I get good in this gookslop?

Figure out some alternative uses for materials so that if your team ends up with extra mythril it doesn't immediately get turned into a drink.
Have map awareness, watch for pings, if you see them in the area keep that in the back of your head. Keep an eye out for possible situations where you can jump into a fight as a third party and steal it all, and make sure that you don't get caught in the middle of something like that yourself.
Use vision tools, but in situations where you have a sneaking suspicion that someone is in a bush, do not walk up to the bush to plop a camera in it. Either use a drone to check first, or hit the bush with something from afar, preferably something that gives you vision or is just wide-ranged enough that if anyone is in there it'll connect. If you can, use the CCTV console. You get money from doing that too.
Learn farming routes, in particular think about the first mutant wolf/bear pack spawns along with figuring out if you can take resources (trees, meteors, Alpha, Omega, purple/red boxes) without risking too much.
Get a feel for when shit's fucked and it's time to just bail if you can. Surviving but having to pay to get back in is better than a wipe. If all else fails, you can at least try and rat for placement.
Speaking of ratting, keep on eye on Lumi. Any time it stops you know someone is there. From day 5 onwards that's particularly important to know, as there's a chance that someone is attempting to revive a teammate, which is a chance for you to kill.

Figure out how you should try and deal with various team compositions, like killing whoever's in the back first or working it from front to back, or just doing your best at poking until you can gain an advantage.

Another thing you can do is check all player corpses you come across, unless you know you've already searched it. Sometimes people leave useful stuff on them, and even if there isn't much you might get some food. It's a good idea to just eat your best food at the start of a fight in case you forget to do it mid-battle, though eventually they're going to add auto-food consumption as a default option instead of making it part of an augment.

You need all three people on the same page in this game.

It's not as magnified as it is in some other games but it's very easy to put your teammate's failings under a microscope in ER because you've got a front row seat to all of their mistakes. This goes for you too, you are not immune to fucking up and your teammates can and will see it.
