Also, this isn't the next longer story I'm writing, this is just something I wanted to do to get the creative juices flowing, test new situations, and see what Anons think. If you couldn't tell yet, we're focusing on Bobette for the romance here, I hope to scratch that itch for all you Bobette enjoyers!
Can't give you a good estimate for length or anything like that, but I'll try to make it satisfying!

Yeah, sorry about that Anon. I don't usually write abuse or hurtcore stuff, I prefer writing either romance or happy stuff. I just feel too out of my element when I write abuse because it doesn't make sense to me, nor do I think it fits the characters in the game. I could write some consensual abuse sometime though, a nice Looey fic where you're his handler and he has a cruddy day, and feels bad. You try to cheer him up but he has a strange request, he wants you to choke him a little, and call him worthless. From there it spirals further with the handler finding a rush and strange sexual appeal to hurting his toon, who is clearly loving it and begging for more.

I don't know anon. Shelly's ignored by a lot of the other toons and it's directly stated she wasn't nearly as popular as the rest of the main toons. Shelly's plushies didn't sell well, her handler had to make a letter telling her to hang in there, and when buying her Dandy goes "Huh? Shelly? Alright I guess..."

I think Shelly was being pushed out of main character status and into being a secondary one. Lack of popularity and such. Similar to Bassie, except with the basket case it was cause she's unstable. Now that you mention the incident I think I finally unraveled the mystery of it. Upon further review of the Mains and the info about them, what if they caused the incident? The Main Toons (with the likely exception of Pebble and probably Astro) rallied the other toons into full on revolt against Arthur and Delilah. Out of fear of being replaced and hatred of being used as tools the Mains Twisted themselves and the other supporting toons into violent monsters.
And what of Dandy and Dyle? Well being more stable and not in fear of being replaced they probably fought back and protected their creators.

And the Toons situation now? It's punishment, their former home now a prison.
Dandy and Dyle essentially became the wardens of Gardenview. This is why they don't interact with the other toons, and why their Twisted forms are Lethal. So they can obliterate any toons who try to escape. Dyle literally gets faster the longer he chases a toon.
There are inconsistencies with this theory, but I also believe that the toons with the exception of the ringleader Mains had there memories wiped or messed with. This is why literally all the Main toons tell Rodger to stop asking questions for his investigation.
