My Hero Ultra Rumble is a F2P battle royale game based off the My Hero Academia anime. It features various characters from the series (with more to be added), each with a unique playstyle and different costumes. Team up with other players or go in solo and try to become the champion!
The game is available on Steam, Playstation, XBOX, and Switch, with crossplay between all platforms.

Getting real tired of OFA deku just outright getting super armor/tanking hits even when he fails to dodge roll.
Like, you hit him with Aizawa's air alpha, he takes 30 damage, doesn't get stunned finishes dodge rolling away, comes back and punishes you on your landing instead. This happens with every character (Rapid Might Grab, Shinso's Beta, Red Kiri's Beta, you name it) ONLY against OFA Deku in gearshift. You could assume lag, except for the fact that when alpha finally stuns him/pulls him, it works as normal, there's no rubberbanding or any sort of delay. Make every version of Deku quirkless NOW

Only in the form of news posts on https://mhaur.bn-ent.net/, dev blogs and patch notes on https://www.bandainamcoent.com/, and "message from the team" posts on the official Discord. The news posts, blog posts, and patch notes also get mirrored on the official Discord server.
Occasionally they'll mention bugs on the MHUR Twitter account (like for example the bug this season where missions weren't completing) but they generally don't.

All of these are pretty uncommon and don't really amount to "communication." The news posts and blog posts for example, are mostly just advertising new things like new gamemodes or characters.
It's also not individual devs or the director or anything who is doing the talking. All the posts are made by the MHUR team as a whole entity.

Wall Runner.

Ibara's only real weakness is the fact that all of her attacks make her stationary, but that doesn't really matter unless she's being swarmed. In a 1v1 context, the enemy can't shoot at you if you're skewering them with your alpha and beta every time their iframes end, and in a team fight you can take the high ground on a building or similar and attack from relative safety.
Her hardest counter is probably Kurogiri since there's nothing she can do to his gamma, but generally speaking she's a great pick and is the strongest Support character, offensively.

Like I said, I don't know what the limit is exactly.
But also, it may not apply if the teammate is actually doing stuff before they leave.
Originally, the feature was intended to apply to situations where the teammate left in the lobby before the match, or was completely AFK and thus would get kicked for inactivity early on.
I'm not sure if that's changed since it was added.

Blue Decucks might just be the worst teammates ever. My experience with AFO's pull lately. I know his aoe isn't a perfect sphere, more like a cube, but am I wrong to say that this is beyond what it should be? I didn't think I'd have to time the i-frames of the roll to avoid it because I felt I should've been outside of the range. I don't remember it being this problematic.

New player here, I've been trying to figure out how to play Shinso since I somehow got him (It's the only character I've rolled) and I like his playstyle a lot.
However when watching some videos about it I see most of them doing these insane high jumps before webslinging or crashing down with Beta but I cannot figure out how this high jump works, is it a tunning thing? what am I missing.

In the days before Space Hop, Shinsos would use their short-press beta to gain some height before attacking with long-press beta, to give the attack more reach/mobility. Now with Space Hop, they can get that height for free.

You can try them all out in training, but unfortunately you can't try them out with different tuning combinations unless you own both the character, the costume and the tuning. But at least you should get some idea of what you like to play so you can unlock it later.

I've been messing around with the infinite float glitch and good news, it lasts through transformations so it's practically permanent unless you die.
One caveat though, if you transform into the chunko again and keep fiddling with her SA you can lose the high jump and just get a normal jump with low gravity. It can even be downgraded to this pitiful hop if you mess with it enough.
Also good news or bad news depending on how you want to look at it it seems like it only works with Ochaco's SA. No infinite hardening, infinte permeation, electrification, recipro, overdrive or anything.

The seasonal Ranked rewards only amount to 170 tickets, so I'm guessing you're talking about the Special missions that award 100 tickets for your first time hitting each rank?
In that case, don't forget to ALSO include the seasonal missions.

How far along are you on the seasonal license? You get 1000 tickets just from that. Also if you're new, you probably still have tickets left to get from your special license (400 tickets were just recently added to level 30+, no idea how many were in the early levels) and research notebook (350 tickets.)
I assume you don't have the crystals to afford both the premium login bonus and the pro license (you should prioritize getting the pro license first) but even the regular login bonus is still another 60 tickets by the end of the season. We just received 50 tickets as an anime commemoration yesterday.
Did you do the Twitch Drops? That's another 50 tickets. If you're in Froggers, you'll get 40 tickets at the end of the month for Elite Agency Ranking.
Did you do all of the beginner missions, under the event missions tab? Those are worth 240 tickets.

It definitely seems possible for you to hit 1000 tickets by the end of the season, if you haven't exhausted most of those options.

If you're a new player, you should really wait until you save up 2000 tickets. You should be able to do so by the end of the season, with all the sources of tickets granted to new players (research notebook, Ranked rewards, etc.)
This is because pity doesn't carry over between banners. If you spend 1k on one banner and 1k on another banner and are unlucky and get nothing both times, you're fucked and the tickets go to waste.
If you spend 2k on one banner, you are guaranteed to at LEAST get one gacha character of your choice.
Maybe you get lucky and get the character you want in like 800 tickets. That's great, means the other 1200 can go toward saving for the next banner you want to roll on. The important thing is to be PREPARED to spend 2000 tickets.

As for which banner to spend the 2000 tickets, that primarily depends on which character ("battle style") you want. Banner characters are significantly rate-boosted (not enough to make rolling with less than 2k a good idea, but enough that if you want a character, rolling on their banner is very likely to be a more efficient use of tickets than trying to get them on someone else's banner.)
Bear in mind that the Original and Alternative battle style gacha pools are separate, so if you roll on Strike Hawks's upcoming banner for example, you couldn't use those points to then pity Nejire.

There are a few special banners going right now for the anniversary that use their own special snowflake tickets rather than the red roll tickets, feel free to spin on those whenever you're able.

Rapid Ochaco's a better pick. She's very good for escaping situations, Mount Lady not so much. I assume since you played for half an hour you probably already know that you should be picking up cards that correspond with your character role so you gain a quirk level. As a general rule when you find a team don't pick the same quirk (strike, assault, rapid, technical, support) as someone else. I mean you CAN if you want, but if you do then that'll mean having less ability cards to pick up for yourself and teammates having different quirk sets is generally better for team comp. I'm also not a cockyfag and generally spawn next to the big box at start UNLESS I or my teammates are using a tuning ability that allows them to open the big box fast, and they're a character that can escape fast enough. When you start a game I'd spend a few minutes collecting useful items before trying to hunt down players. Always be next to your teammates, rescue civilians to collect revive cards, find rainbow cards to level up your skill or your quirk ability cards, and mark your teammate's ability cards. I try to at least get my skills to level 5 and make sure I have a bad full of drinks before I go rushing into combat. You'll always have a retarded teammate who thinks he's hot shit and the moment he sees a lone player he'll chase them down trying to kill them. Most of the time it's not worth it. That player is running back to their team who probably has more upgrades while your teammate spent that time chasing a player and you chose to follow your teammate.

A lot of experience. The game is simple on the surface, but has a lot of complexity under the hood especially regarding what characters can do.
If you like, feel free to join Froggers and send out a party invite when you see other anons online. Playing with reliable teammates is always a lot nicer than soloqueue. Bear in mind that the person you invite might be in a match at the time and there is no indication of this to the person who sends the invite, so it could be up to 15 minutes or so before they join.
You can also create a team ID and post it in the thread and see if anyone else will join up.

KBM is easier than controller UNLESS you're using that controller on PC and you turn Aim Assist on.
The aim assist calculations in this game are tied to device framerate, which means if you're on a PC capable of pulling 240 FPS, the aim assist is basically aimbot. Like you can literally not touch the controller at all and it will track an enemy as they run around, dodge roll, even through some mobility skills if the movement isn't too sudden.
A lot of top players exploit this with beamers to play the game on easymode.

Good luck catching Strike Hawks, he's as fast or faster than Rapid Hawks, because tap gamma carries full momentum and doesn't stop him, unlike his original version, and tap alpha still keeps some. Add in an air melee for speed (and one right before you hit the ground) after every gamma and only after the gamma animation fully ends, move your camera sideways for diagonal movement and you've probably crossed 75% of the map in the blink of an eye.

Honestly, finally getting a Denki PUR outfit feels as good as getting one of my 8 picks, so I'm pleased. Stop giving me stuff for Bakugo though, thanks.

Strike Hawks's short-press alpha seems mostly useful as a combo initiator or to interrupt enemies. It deals somewhere on the lower end of beamer damage, but Hawks only has 6 ammo and they take 2 seconds each to recharge, so he can't just be spamming them. It's actually fairly similar to Tech Shoto's alpha in terms of damage and recharge, but even Tech Shoto has 2 more ammo. The animation to throw them out also takes a bit of time, though at least for short-press alphas he retains momentum during it.
Long-press alphas do about 10% more total damage than short-press alphas.
At level 7, long-press alphas split into three shots, for a bit more coverage in dense fights.
The long-press alphas only spread while they're in the air, which means if you fire them directly at your feet, they almost entirely overlap and travel together. Like this, they can deal up to 162 damage to a single target at level 9 before hard knockdown, although the triple tornado doesn't travel very far, making it hard to land.

Strike Hawks's beta deals 5 total hits for 116 damage at level 1 and 156 damage at level 9. The initial hit has 0 down power, but the remaining four have 50 each, totaling 200. Because it's split up into multiple hits, you're limited on how much you can combo into this move without knockdown ending it early.
It's possible to damage someone with the slashes without hitting them with the intitial rush, but mostly the hitbox of the slashes is small enough that if the rush doesn't hit, the slashes won't either.
At level 7, both the charge-up and the rush gain armor.
Charging the attack doesn't seem to actually do anything in terms of damage or distance. It seems like it's mostly intended for lining up your shot.
If Hawks's beta is blocked by a shield, he can immediately beta again (though not for free, it consumes another ammo.) Additionally, his beta will break him out of any bind, grab, or stagger. It seems to take priority over all other animations.

Hawks's gamma seems most useful as a combo initiator/extender, or for mobility since it conserves momentum from his Special Action flight. At level 1 it only deals 79 total damage. For reference, even his basic melee combo deals 127 damage. At level 7 his gamma gets a final hit that brings it up to 118 damage and applies Perception to the enemy for 7 seconds. This is the same duration as Rapid Hawks's gamma, but Rapid Hawks's gamma is ranged and the AoE goes through walls, making it a great probing tool. Strike Hawks has to actually touch the enemy, so 7 seconds seems kind of useless in that aspect. At level 9 his gamma increases to 122 damage, which is STILL less than his melee, but at least you can actually combo another attack in after his gamma.
Because his gamma conserves his lateral momentum and gives him an upward boost, you can use it to gain quite a bit of distance when paired with the airspeed from his Special Action.

Overall, Hawks's damage output seems low for a Strike. Most of his attacks can be combo'd into at least one other attack, and he basically has to do that in order to maintain effective DPS. However, using so many attacks in a row will probably eat into his cooldowns. I think Strike Hawks will probably be fine in 1v1s, but will struggle in fights against multiple enemies due to his low ammo and long reloads.
His strongest aspects seem to be his mobility, his armored beta, and the fact that his beta can break grabs/stuns/staggers (which is almost certainly a bug and will be eventually removed.)

Strike Shoto's alphas outrange even Tech Denki, and the only thing that beats it is Yellow Deku's crouch shot. That's crazy. I knew it had some range but I didn't know it that was that much. All because I was messing around with red Hawks' alpha. On that topic, his alpha has a sweet spot when aimed at the ground where he gets the max possible range before the tornado disappears, plus, some extra from it breaking off into a smaller tornado that travels farther along the ground then stops for a second or two and finally dissipates. It's still less than Yellow Deku's alpha range, but good enough to poke as a third party.

Ochaco is a solid character and sticking with her should do you fine, especially as you continue to improve. If you've completed enough Beginner Missions you may have a Character Ticket, so I'd encourage thinking on who you'd like to unlock with it just so you can have another preferred choice in case Ochaco is taken once you jump into Ranked.

It's not, at the low levels. In fact Ranked is arguably better than Unranked in that regard, since in Ranked, Expert/Ace players are segregated from the lower ranks.
Once you get past Expert though, the matchmaking can become more uneven, since there are Ace players with 0.5 KO ratio and Ace players with 8.0+ KO ratio and the game makes no distinction between them.

I've heard Aizawa is a counter to OFA Deku, but is he really? I can't trap him with gamma, he can just raw beta through it. Somehow, jump melee can trade with gamma, be it on wakeup or just having it active. Mid range which is where you should have the advantage, his beta trades positively with your alpha, and he has access to good movement speed and very fast rolls so landing that alpha isn't all that easy. Special action helps, up to a certain point but you have to alpha out of it as opposed to gamma because of his jump melee. Then if you need to run, his alpha is a perfect counter to everything you do because Aizawa's startup delay is enough for him to charge alpha. What do you do, just 1v3 him? Swap to Shinso once I get him?

You could always put it on one of their cheap costumes, unless you don't own Asschaco and need to conserve the data. When you switch characters in Training Mode, all their roundstart tunings have their durations refreshed (unless you get the bug and end up with a different character's tunings) so you can just swap back and forth to use level 1 Space Hop for as long as you want.
