The Ultra Realm (purple) is weaker than other realms but they are usable and you should combine realms anyway. The game balance isn’t bad. The dev constantly buff and nerf characters and something they are too heavy handed with the nerf. The game is very difficult so don’t expect to be able to complete the story soon like other gachas. According to the latest leaderboards, only a few dozens people managed to clear the story on hard with no revive.

Only did the lowest diff for each, that shit is tiresome. Too much moving around empty nodes and allowing you to backtrack ruins the roguelite vibe.
I admit the rogue elements are barebones in this game(giving too much hints, characters doing most of the legwork as opposed to relics). Heard they revamped the system but i don't want to bother myself with it until season two is fully done.

If you want to do deep dive, then all units are quite balanced in that mode. There are unique relics and mechanics which rotate every season and even niche units like Wanda are usable. There are 5 levels of difficulty but you only need to do level 3 for all relevant rewards, which is already quite hard by itself. A full level 5 clear is basically top of the leaderboards. Even a mix of level 4 and 5 clears is enough to be in top 50 or so.

If you are going by Flare's guide, he hates Ultra and is biased against it. But they are not as bad as he makes them out to be. Ultra used to be an absolute menace in the first year so the dev is careful with how they buff it. Even now, their extra turn mechanic trivialize tons of boss because they can be stacked in mob battles then unleash on the boss on the first turn. If you play far into the story, you will start to see boss with limit on how much damage they can take per turn because Ultra just nukes them in the first turn.

Gameplay is aight but my phone is slow and IMO even after that the game could be faster in some places. Servers are not good and you gotta send and receive packets for delay, and then there's a bit (or a lot) of story and some unskippable cutscenes, very tedious. Took awhile to download. Meanwhile I downloaded Uma Musume in like a minute for the same size

Caro/Aequor continues to feast. An alternative to GHelot makes him pretty skippable if you've invested in her. Unless his numbers are insane, but they tend to release underpowered so I doubt it. Also the first character in part 2 that isn't overexalt bait.

Newtard here. Moving through the story at the snail pace with my counter stacking team. Very comfy if not boring. But since I intend to switch things a bit. Is the Karo realm supposed to be bad? Or I'm missing something crucial there? Furnace heal is unreliable and embryo occupy space in hand. This is very frustrating especially when enemies tickle you for 100+ damage on average.

The 100 rolls is for the standard banner anon, which is still useful because there is good shit and wheels on it but it's not something you can use on him. The big problem with him is he really needs help ramping his exalt and making babies(IE Thais) but every caro team also wants her and you only have one. Now newbies do have rolls to spare so rolling him won't hurt but I'd still put him at lower priority unless you are in love with his design.

That's how this game works and why there is a monthly dupe selector in the sediment shop. It's very rare for a character to not want dupes at all so it's a matter of who you want to prioritize. In any case while dupes are nice for him he isn't as dupe hungry as some characters(gdoll...).

You have plenty of time to save for Thais, she is likely to be reran around November or so. And if you are new you can just push story/hard mode and probably get plenty to grab Miryam anyway.

Idk about comp but I know some stinky gimmicks. Murphy has a card that +2 your Arithmetica limit but it costs 3? Or 4. Anyways, you use the posse card that grants 4 Arithmetica, but -1 your limit. So you basically cancel out their cost and negative while growing your potential to use more expensive cards.

Next gimmick is Lotan and a common WoD that grants Aliemus every time you use Strike. So her Exalt basically gives her 50 Aliemus after you Strike twice. Murphy also generates Aliemus for allies.
So I just try to stack Lotan Strike/Aliemus.

I've been having success with a jenkin comp. Basic idea is you want to get her exalt as fast as possible and as often as possible and spam her rats. Thais provides lots of aliemus, some card draw, and a bit of healing. Tawil provides aliemus, barriers, and an emergency rewind button to reset a target's hp back to what it was the previous turn. Alva is just a decent tank that can slow shit down with AOE sluggish. I don't know that this is a the absolute best comp but it's been pretty effective.

But this doesn't align with the 0.5% overall drop rate. So over 1000 rolls you should expect on average 5 limited pulls out of 50 total SSRs and then, as you explained, these 5 pulls should presumably be split between however many limited characters there are on the banner.
So unless I'm misunderstanding something, how it probably works is, once you drop an SSR it has a 90% chance of being standard and a 10% chance of being limited. For example an Aequor SSR would have a 5% of being Tulu specifically, which would become 3.33% after Miryam enters standard.

I keep picking up and dropping this game time and time again, I really like the aesthetics and gameplay, the story was fine even if MTL shitted it up.

Do note that you can(and should) get 1 dupe a month of any character you have from one of the shops. NTA, but it's really not that hard to do. Arc 1 is pretty easy to cheese with relics and any cohesive team comp. Honestly the hardest fight you are probably gonna face relative to your power up to that point is chapter 5's boss. 6 is pretty easy, 7 isn't bad if you have some form of AOE and if you can handle those 8 isn't that big of a jump. But eventually your HP starts to struggle to keep up.

It's less a dual hypercarry setup and more doresain becomes a STR gen bot. so much so you give him her wheel and give her others. He is basically caro ogier in that setup. You use thighs to dupe his str gen cards, play them, and then do a big fucking hyperflare and one shot shit.

I'm amused that Kath can make good use of Casiah of all bottom tier units to the point it's not even a cope team but one of her best ones.

Poof lets you shuffle kath's cards back into the deck, this means you can shuffle a max stack card that you don't want to play yet for one that doesn't have stacks(so it can get one at the end of the turn). It lets you shuffle hands that have none of kath's cards away to unbrick hands too. It sounds like a gimmick but in tandem with g ramona for more hand fixing and ogier for str gen it's viable for d5 and other endgame content. The key part is shuffling cards into the deck, for other characters this would be inferior to discarding and drawing more or searching specific cards. For kath it's a fuck ton of utility because shuffled cards don't lose their flammia stacks. It's also pretty much the only way to make e0 kath sort of playable(still dogshit, don't play e0 kath). This is one of kath's best teams in general, doresain/thighs core is probably still better, but it's competing for 2nd place.

Because cards with max stacks don't get more and she is essentially a combo character. This helps you pull off hyperflare exodia on the first or second turn consistently. You play poof for the same reason exodia has played magical mallet in the past.

Miryam's is pretty much the single best general use posse if you can work around the aliemus-. There are situationally better ones, for instance thais' one is also great for ghelot, but for a one size fits all option draw 2 2 ap is hard to beat.

I put the thais chapter bonus on hameln's card that gives you STR gen plus insight and lets you play it even if you don't have the arithmetica and tried to empty my hand as much as I could before I popped it. Gives you around 14(more more if you have relics that increase handsize further, I was getting around 17 thanks to that mask relic) free cards that give STR gen plus insights in your deck. Then I just shat out a gorrilion cards a turn. The first phases when it cycles attacks depending on how many cards you play are simple, just cycle it to the attack that doesn't do any damage and use that section of the fight to set up. If you have pierce damage(I used various cards from tawil's exalt, miryams's, tulu's, etc) you can burst through the shield it gens easy, or just enough brute force I guess(lighting retribution). When I got to the phase with two targets I had to sure not to attack into counters(I wasn't paying attention the first attempt and nuked myself). I did as much damage as possible on the first turn of that phase and let tentacles finish it the second turn when it had counter. Then it was just a matter of bum rushing the last two phases with as much damage as I could, the fortress gimmick stalled me a bit but with enough STR from earlier stages it was just a matter of burning it down before it burned though all my death res.

I heard that BIAV gave some more power to their JP publisher in exchange for an easier/cheaper time getting published in Japan. And apparently the publisher wanted extensive rebalance to favor limited units and (allegedly) an auto mode. Maybe they recoded a bunch of stuff to fit into that auto mode. Sucks either way if that turns out to be true, though. They won't let the game achieve success on its own merits and have decided to fudge the original game in favor of JP's apparent addiction to money-milking and the convenience of autoplay games.
