Nice. Got any gems? I don’t own a famicom, but I bought picrel for a friend a while back. Not the best game but cheap and the presentation is awesome. Peak 80s β€œtough guy” era manga style, and the booklet has character bios and portraits which is a nice touch.

>kunio dodgeball
funny thing, the nes version is a choppy mess with lots of flicker, but the version on NSO is completely fixed and plays great? I have no idea what kind of sorcery this is, but it might be a tweaked version that was on one of the many kunio game compilations released in the last decade.
In any case I hope we can rip the rom file because it would be great to play on original hardware. I actually prefer it to the PCE version except for the poor performance of course.

I bought a few loose famicom games this year. Years ago I bought a bunch of CIB and loose famicom games that actually amount to something. I was told that my CIB copy of Abadox was pretty rare. I bought the lot for the CIB Contra.

I've only started making money a couple of years ago, and I decided to get married not long after I started working, so no real disposable income for me. I'll just have to stick to emulation, especially in a few years when we decide to have kids and all.

i love these compilations on ps2 especially the ones that actually support tate. the ps2 is probably the best console to date for arcade ports.

pretty much everything important is covered, from capcom cps to naomi/atomiswave and the pc based taito type x and examu, and a shit load of neogeo games.

I love them there is the odd near lemon though such as pic related is a mixed bag, the ourun and psce harrier is o but the golden axe is absoluely terrible, in fact it probably goes dow in haming hsitory as the worst ever, over all though the other content still makes it worthwhile it's not as good as the other compiliations I've posted (at all) but still worth it.

Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 2: Monaco GP
Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 3: Fantasy Zone
Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 4: Space Harrier
Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 5: Golden Axe
Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 6: Ichini no Tant-R to Bonanza Bros.
Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 7: Columns
Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 8: Virtua Racing FlatOut
Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 13: OutRun
Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 14: Alien Syndrome
In PAL regions, Vol. 14: Alien Syndrome was omitted in an attempt to lower the PEGI rating.
