In chapter 6, if you aren't a kiihachad, you have an option to do a spiritual scan when helping desdemona make a bomb. It will reveal a ghost which you can eat for 20 AP and taint if you are corrupted.
Dragon trial has 2 events that help out demonic cultivation.
The sword you get from guiren's quest makes the curse lower check difficulty by 2 instead of 1 if your hellscape has more than 100 AP.

Alchemy was changed and is nowhere near as abuseable, you now need like 10 points in it to get the yield it used to give. Hand seal cycling was also somewhat nerfed to not scale as much past certain value. And athletic bonuses were heavily buffed.
All around, as long as you don't fail rolls, most builds will have over 1800 AP by the end of the update and I think no check asks for more than 1500. And that's without actually trying to get more.

I remember having the oportunity to get one at the dock town, but i feel it doesn't fits the theme of kiihikai which is blasting people away, not slicing them or showering them with arrows.

Basically the element you get from special stuff is your yang element while the one you get from meditating is the Yin one. It usually changes nothing but the ying yang amulets power up the element from the corresponding slot. If your element is a proper Yin or Yang element then they give a bonus stat. It's cool if you can pull it off but not really earth shattering and you will most likely find better accessories anyway.
For reference Earth, Dark and Ice are Yin while Fire, Wind and Light are Yang, Water is both. Also there's for now no way to get Light as a Yang element yet so don't worry too much about it.

I think the author is way too fond of swapping perspectives and spends too much time on those scenes though.
Perspective swaps can be fun when it comes to seeing current story beats play out from another person's perspective, but it gets irritating when the author keeps using them to pad out/expand on scenes which didn't need to be shown, or are characters having dramatic monologues about their tragic past which the PC can't even tackle because then npcs goes and dies before she could say anything anyway

Warships are the worst option by far with merchant being the best. The trick is in chapter 2 to order the bandits to raid the enemy sect, then you meet them in chapter 6. It turns out, Qing recruited them as his crew. You then order them to rejoin you and they mutiny. Then have Qing walk the plank, you will get his hat, ship, crew and writ of favour. Prestige 40 is doable before the Dragon Trial and depending on your actions, you can accomplish it even on the first day in Nanhou without minmaxing too hard.
