It kinda feels like VShojo wanted to get rid of the 3 "toublemakers" using a bad contract. While the other talents they wanted to keep got the good contract. (The second part is a bit uncertain)

It somewhat matches also with "pitting the talents against them", etc. The NDA would also help here, because the talents with the good contracts would see their contracts and think "what is wrong with these 3, the contract is great".
