Funnily enough, the idea of "a random dashi soup stock faucet out in the wild" isn't so farfetched. They really are out there, waiting to be found, sometimes in odd places. Maybe cold stock, maybe hot. You never know when the craving for udon broth is going to hit, so these can be a lifesaver.

The one at Takamatsu Airport is somewhat famous, a tourist attraction even

Depends on perspective/context. A girl that you think is a guy would be an ambush, which could apply here since this character, up to this point, always dressed and acted like a boy and everyone thought she was a boy, including herself apparently.

If we go by jap terminology, reverse trap is just a girl convincingly crossdressing as male.
>>5947476
I don't know where you got that "ambush" from. The uses I've seen mean either a man's disguise that's completely unconvincing, like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4YcAmmnrnvQ&t=48 , or a successful disguise that later reveals a very masculine body.

I'll be surprised if crunchyroll doesn't deliberately mistranslate the subtitles to try and make the whole subplot, and every scene involving her, conform to gender ideology and ban anyone who complains about it. It might prove difficult without editing scenes, but when we're talking about an ideology that's straight up illegal to criticize in most of the west and a bannable offense to criticize on almost every English language website. So if someone on the team says its worth it, the others literally can't say it's not without getting fired. And they got rid of anyone who's want to say it wasn't already.

All throughout my life, people criticized me for eating white rice with ketchup. It's nice to see that it's actually a thing and not just me.
Anonymous No.5948379
>>5948335
Yeah I don't know why it's a weird thing in the West, or at least burgerland. Now granted, store-bought ketchup isn't exactly a high quality condiment, but still... for some reason it seems like we're only allowed to put it on hot dogs and burgers and fries and nothing else?

"Omurice" is a very popular dish in Japan, you've probably seen it countless times in anime too. It's basically a ketchup rice omelette, and people draw hearts and stuff on top of it with ketchup if they want to be corny

The thing Usagi does at the end of >>5948245 is something they'll often do for kids' meals at family restaurants and so on. A dome of rice in the center with a little flag on it, and then various sides around it like tako-san wieners or hamburg steak, etc. And yep sometimes that dome of rice in the center can be ketchup rice / omurice too.

Mattaku Saikin no Tantei to Kitara is a nice oldschool gag comedy about an exaggeratedly middle-aged detective
Dekin no Mogura is pretty fun so far, also about a middle-aged impoverished medium/spirit dude trying to get by
Ruri no Houseki is well-animated and will get you interested in rocks
Hikaru ga Shinda Natsu is a high-budget supernatural horror set in a small village, with slightly homoish vibes between the MCs (it's not actually BL, my fujo friend even dropped the manga because she felt baited)
Takopii no Genzai is a deliciously fucked up suffering bonanza about a little clueless alien octopus trying to be helpful to humans. Has bullying, parental abuse, suicides and murders (it's already over, just 6 episodes)
City The Animation is worth checking if you liked Nichijou (it's different though)
Puniru wa Kawaii Slime S2 continues to deliver
Karaoke Iko is a nice relaxing slice of life about a middle schooler giving singing lessons to a yakuza (still airing, but only 5 episodes long)

It's like they're really trying to copy Nier Automata as hard as possible. Except this is going to have even more yuri.
Neither are actually high brow intellectual stuff that you can learn something from and if you do learn anything from it, it's because you're actually missing out on relevant experiences you could actually apply to real scenarios, it's not even small talk material because no one out there actually watches this. They just make you feel things, and it's an open question if this show could actually make you do that as much as its opening suggests it will.

This particular dance is very "obon odori" style, and some have noted that it's reminiscent of an "eejanaika / ใˆใˆใ˜ใ‚ƒใชใ„ใ‹" dance. Means something like "oh whatever, who cares anymore?", and apparently they were very popular around the Boshin War / Bakumatsu period. Very tough times indeed. Some danced to summon rain or good harvest, but for some they were political protests, relieving stress the only way they could.
