I enjoyed the "base" one and I think it's worth it, very pretty anime although the animation isn't great even for those years, the story is the most classic fantasy thing you can get and if you enjoy that kind of stuff it's 100% worth it, the following series and OVAs are kinda whatever, also haven't read the LN it's based on, which supposedly has a completely different ending and lasts a lot more than the anime, might worth looking into that if you like reading.
