Wow, that's a lot to take in but it's also eerily accurate. I work in the animation industry and it is currently imploding, partly due to AI, partly due to bad decisions made in years past. Just the other day I heard studios are only hiring managers to do grunt level work.
Been trying to apply to any related jobs I can find, only having some degree of luck with small freelance stuff, nothing full-time or stable.
