You can usually tell at a museum which bones are fake and which are real by looking at the surface structure, a real one will be held gently by supports and have a more textured surface, while fake ones will have rods through them.

this thread is so sad because while perhaps time, geology, carbon dating and other methods may be incorrect or flawed, fossils are a real thing that happens. you can fossilize a teddy bear (kinda, turn it to stone) in some places on earth it happens so quickly to turn to stone. its sad because so many of you have such sheltered lives no one ever even bothered to bring you outside and hit rocks with chisels and hammers to look for fossils. like my dad regularly would show me where to look when we went to nature and I was raised in a major city with no backyard. some of you likely live in places full of fossils and never bothered to hit some rocks out on your own porch. imo dragons were real and were dinos too, kinda opposite of this threads OP perspective, there is room for doubt, but the angle of "oh yeah, go find a fossil" is absurd and silly on its face.
