well, I think you're just inventing new tulpas in order to cope with how you feel badly about your original life and life story.
So in other words, that isn't "real" either. I mean, it's a tulpa. So it's a part of you. And you are real. So a tulpa being a part of your mind means it's "real", you know, technically.

If dissociating away from your original life story and identity helps you, then it's okay. However, you probably really need to get help, because doing that is not a good idea. It won't solve the problem. Just shove it down somewhere else.

And using tulpamancy instead of actually solving your problems is not a good idea. At the end of the day, it's just a shell game. You're just playing games with yourself, basically. Suppressing bad feelings, shoving them onto someone else, or becoming someone else so you don't need to deal with the bad feelings of the original identity. It's not effective in the long run.

That sounds... overly complicated and "spiritual". You don't need to do any of that. All you need is practice. People try to make magic more mysterious than it really is. It's just a skill, that you get better at with repeated use. Just like any other skill.
