That's how mine was before, that's how the van is too, one set of lights is low and high and the other set of lights only came on for high, but now I have quadruple low and quadruple high (at least on the car).

I'm pretty sure I have them sufficiently aimed, and I specifically wired the side lights to the high beams so I wouldn't be flashing people with them as I pass them. That was the disadvantage of using off-road LEDs rather than Factory cornering lamps, there's not really any cut off, so if I had my high beams on and you drove past me they would shine at you from the side.
That actually reminds me of the truck I once passed on the highway who had the brightest LEDs known to man mounted in his license plate housings, which meant that as I passed him they were shining directly into my eyes, lol

I also (regretfully) have a modern cuckover with LED projectors and whenever those burn out I'm just going to put the halogen housings from a lower trim model in them because I actually hate the LED headlights, the "high beams" are achieved by just moving some little door out of the way of the headlight, you can hear it clunking if you turn them on and off with the window down, and when the high beams are on all they really do is shine higher directly forward, which is only any help on a completely straight road, whereas with my car and it's high beams I can see a wide expanse ahead of me.
They also have a extremely sharp cut off between no light and full brightness, and on every little incline I can just watch that line of light pass up and down over whatever poor unlucky vehicle happens to be in front of me, no wonder I absolutely hate having modern vehicles behind me.
