Am I going to kill myself? I’m drowning right now. I was in a car crash, with my wife. God blessed us in the fact that we did not die, and that she was barely harmed. The EMT’s were saying we’re lucky to be alive. We were speeding back home from a party. She was drunk, and I was rushing. Uber was too expensive. So fucking stupid. I swerved to avoid a fox. My steering failed, and the wheel kicked back HARD. We crashed into a tree. On a humorous note, I had just signed with a big modeling agency.
We are facing huge medical debt, being single income, legal fees, and having to couch surf at my livia soprano tier mother’s house because two months ago we found black mold in our apartment but our landlord ghosted us. i've been trying to understand mine a bit more my saturn return is just starting and I have a couple weird things in the chart/things going on as well:
mutual reception mercury taurus/venus gemini
venus gemini 9th house chart ruler OOB at 27.32
also venus rules taurus so I think that heavily impacts my sun as well
my benefics/malefics are all just goofy:
jupiter: in fall in capricorn
saturn: in fall in aries
mars: dignified in aries but under the rays

trying to understand these just b/c my transits right now are going to be goofy for a bit I had:
neptune conjunct saturn at the same time my saturn return started
uranus is entering gemini where my chart ruler is

other weird thing is a day chart but the day stuff is in fall (jupiter/saturn) and all the night stuff is super influential (venus/mars/moon)
also some key sub 1 aspects: saturn-pluto trine, moon-mercury sextile, sun-uranus square
moon also squares mars and opposes neptune just over 1 degree

trying to understand this better and how they kind of inter-relate as my upcoming transits are significant. Just had/in the middle of:
neptune conjunct saturn while my saturn return starts (also neptune in aries in general since my mars is pretty significant on my chart)
and uranus is heading towards my chart ruler venus gemini so just trying to get an idea of impact and how that all kinda flows through

But yes in relation to the stars at least, similarly to genetics, if you are aware that they are impacting you you can account for it, but if you are not you can't.

If you are aware how the stars can be a factor when you feel a certain way or are experiencing certain thoughts you can see "oh this might just be the influence of X" while if you don't have that you might self-identify with it and see it as coming from yourself or project it onto something else.

It's not that the stars tell you everything you need to know about yourself and you can rule everything if you understand them, but that the stars are AN influence, and if you don't understand how they influence you to a degree they will rule you rather than you ruling them.

It's similar to phenomenology of technology stuff ala mcluhan. Is my current attitude towards the world "who I am" or am I merely identifying with the impacts of say having a car or electric communication.

We are constantly influenced by a ton of different factors, you can understand HOW they are influencing you and deal with that, or not understand and just be ruled by them instead. Like someone who thinks talking to someone online is just like talking to them in person, or thinks a society structured by typographic print is all society can ever be rather than just something influenced by the current technological state of the world.
