You are strong spirits capable of permanently altering the world (for better or worse) they will never know peace until they conquer whatever challenge attunes to them the most.
People like you lot are only one out of several million - think of it like Conqueror's Haki from the manga One Piece. However, just because you are born with the qualities of a Sovereign does not guarantee that you will reign as a Sovereign. You must still earn it, and you can even be dominated by weaker spirits if you allow it. That being said, you can also become quite tyrannical if you allow yourselves to.
