I tweaked out and realized we're in a simulation. Every thing is so dense. Actions have consequences. Its a death trap. Water is evil. I just breathed in a spam musibi. Its all evil. Im a canabal. I think of it like this.

Since GTA3, the NPC's in Grand Theft Auto have slowly been increasing in terms of functionality, how they interact with each other, and their environment. At first it was just they said a few lines, and they either ran away from you, or fought against you.
Three games later, they talk to each other, they use team work against you, they have a series of dialogues which range from flirting, insulting, rejecting your advances, etc.

GTA6 we're going to see a myriad of new NPC functions, and as the years go by (Assuming we survive long enough or the franchise doesn't die out) eventually the Rockstar franchise is going to start using AI to program, map, design NPCs.

If this trend continues, eventually there will be human rights groups fighting for the proper treatment of NPCs because NPCs are now actively begging us not to kill them in games, because they're aware of death, and th erisk of death, because we've been chatting with them in game, telling them about the outside world and how theirs is just a video game that people "Avatar in".

So that leads me to wonder... if eventually NPC's are all AI programs, how does that effect the probability that that's just what we are as well? NPCs that haven't yet discovered the outside?

I think the premise of "simulation theory" is intriguing and highlights a way to think about the universe around us, but it's not so much a controlled simulation as a massively complicated and interwoven set of realities that I don't think we'd be able to comprehend even if the entire picture were revealed to us.

Is it best for a curious ant to be taught quantum physics and human languages that it can't possibly speak, or is it best that an ant is allowed to live the life of an ant? No harm in us accepting what we are while we are, right?

That's another thing, I'm unsure if they live a repeating loop of the same life or it becomes a cascade of infinite different ones. I'm leaning more towards the latter, as a curious mind would find greater fulfilment in exploring than staying stagnant within a forever repeating cycle. So the ant, in our example, may in fact die and awaken a bird or even a man. I don't believe there would exist any barrier preventing such a thing, at least. It may not even be life within the same dimension or universe, who can really know for sure?

I think that's part of what makes life so beautiful. In every direction, an infinite cosmos to explore and find fascination within. Were even a way out a valid concept to explore, would one truly want to consign themselves to something else?

One thing upon which we can both agree, death is not the breaking of a cycle, but simply the closing chapter of a single book of infinite many stories to explore. The life that gave their forms animation continues infinitely.

What exactly does being "out" entail, though? Is it just a frame of mind or is it seeking something else? I used to worry about the finality of death and feared it, but then one day... Speaking as someone who spent much of their life alone, I would often be as nice as I could in games since I wanted friends. Occasionally I would do "bad path" stuff, such as doing evil in Fable and whatnot, but I always felt bad and would reload. I remembering spending hours on the Sims, Bustin Out and 2 in particlar. I remember bringing my laptop over and showing some friends the sims and one friend just wanted to kill everyone, it pained me to go along with it... That being said some NPCs are utter shit and you can't let them slow you down, be a video game or "irl" especially IRL ones since they can actually hurt you.
Living in a world of NPCs when you Know you're a player is a special kind of hell... Even then not so bad at times, but the game masters have decided I should be alone and not thrive...I was under the illusion that some of them might've even been my friends given Who I Am... Oh well... fuck em... I look forward to killing them someday...

I actually used to be almost precisely like you myself. In highschool, I was slighted and ridiculed through no fault of my own. I was picked on for being bright, but shy. I am afraid and greatly disturbed to inform you that we do indeed live in a simulation and that there is absolutely nothing at the moment we can do about it other than abide by the rules and machinations of the plane until higher powers interfere in the realatively far future. the sim unravels only when you start to question things and look at reality, versus just passively living within reality, accepting it as real, and consooming all the ups and downs, joys and despair, that makes up this patchwork.

the matrix was engaging because it didn't leave too many gaps. they discuss glitches for example, which is nice. when you notice a glitch or crack, or when you just feel a weird unease, dejavu, like this is all some sort of fabrication, that's when your mind is looking at the big picture and not just the day to day happenings.

let me give you an example. today i heard my parents have the exact same conversation again. mom said something that she has said before, and like a robot, dad repeated the same exact response he repeated in the past. yes they are old, above 70, but it goes to show that they are basically bots, following a loop or script. now that they're old they are even more locked into that script. they lack the energy or mental clarity to do anything different. one can even say that many in their late 20s to 30s are locked into similar routines and paths.

but the more i look around, all i see are bots, NPCs, just background non-characters there to trick us into thinking it's real. if the world was less dense with all these fuckers, it would seem less real. like how a dream appears surreal when it's empty. but while dreaming i always think the dream is real. if these dreams can fool me, then reality itself can as well.

the entire purpose of a sim reality, it's end function, is to trick you into believing that it is a real reality. thus there are thousands upon thousands of layers, all "programmed" to maintain this view. why would "they" need this place? a couple of possibilities:
1. it's a containment zone, we are contained, or imprisoned
2. it's a testing ground, we are being tested

the main problem with claiming reality is a sim is that you then lose all foundation for what it is. if it can be a containment zone then it opens up many possibilities, like, our true bodies in base reality are sleep mode, and this sim reality is just to keep our minds busy until we're ready to awaken. or the religious view, that we're actually in purgatory. or if you're living a hellish life, then your current life is actually hell, a punishment.

if a higher being wanted to trick you into believing this world is absolutely real and the only reality, then of course they would make sleep required and dreams to happen during sleep. but if you look at evolution, the need for sleep doesn't make much sense. many would've perished by sleeping and getting eaten, thus not passing on the gene. so this phenomenon of sleeping and dreaming is one little thread to pull on that reveals how fake everything is. sleep is a very real limitation. if you go without it, you get very tired or go insane.

sleep, the speed of light, luck and how some appear to live a charmed life of easily making millions each year, all suggest that we're in a sim. major religions claim that we're in a mid-level testing ground. that heaven is for those who are best with their time here.

Everything always takes place in the brain. We have consciousness and are aware of it. But a stone has no consciousness; it only becomes a conscious stone in our brains, when we name it, give it a shape, a weight, etc. That's why we can all determine that this is a stone when we compare it.

I think that since everything is always waves anyway, we should also be able to shapeshift by reducing the 36 illusions or learning to control them better, so that we temporarily lose density and therefore cannot, for example, bump into each other because we shapeshift through the edge of the table.

Do anyone else feel the world is "empty"? Don't get me wrong, I see people everyday, but they seem either more robotic or more "animalistic". It has become almost impossible to get a meaningful interaction out there. Acquaintances from the past have done a 180 degrees turnover in their behavior, most have just faded out of my life for no reason.
Seriously, walk up to a normie and talk to them about anything that matters to you, they'll either make it clear that they're not listening or they will interrupt you with the most random shit you've ever heard.They will gaslight you, or worst case they will mock and ridicule you.

That has led me to wonder if the cause is not in the individual people themselves, but rather they are just scripted in order not to hear the truth or anything meaningful. Like stripped of any attention when it comes to important subjects.
It has reached to the point that I'm wondering if I'm not the only "real person" walking in a world full of NPCs. Going out nowadays has that eerie feeling of lifelessness.

Yup. I suddenly got thus ghosttown feeling from the whole world around this time in 2021. It suddenly happened. A neighbor that greeted me everytime I went to their fruit tree just suddenly stopped. It felt pretty quiet too. IDK if I just noticed it late or something, but I did not feel it during the height of lockdowns.

And like you said, I still see people, even have new neighbors in a area near my home where I never expected. Still empty, tho ig slightly less then back then.

I honestly think that the plandemic was matrix related. Like they needed to update it or move the sim to the next stage or something.

Yeah it was the same time for me, around late 2021 when lockdowns ended (at least where I live), life just resumed as it was supposed to be, but you could feel something was off, it was not like before, I would call that (in my terms) a disturbance in the collective unconscious

It also coincided with the rise of generative AI and LLMs. Idk how to explain but by using AIs life itself began feeling like a hyperrealistic video game instead of well, life.

Yeah I like to believe this. Even though I've always got the feeling something was off ,the pandemic year was really a turning point. The world itself was really different before and after, and that's only like 6 years. Ever since then it keeps getting more and more alien.

I was an avid player of GTA V. Once I tried an experiment. I would only kill men. Everytime I died and respawned there would be fewer male NPCs. Finally I got it so there were none.
