Aging’s evil plan was to mass-manufacture strong devils through human thought without aging. In part 1, there’s a lengthy discussion of how devils originate from human perception and conception. People often invent the same thing as others without knowledge of the other person’s work through observation, induction, and conception. Nukes were gonna come back sooner or later.

I love Asa a lot as a character, but as of the recent developing chapters, I gotta ask; What does her character do anymore? She seems like a vehicle for Yoru to develop recently. Only showing up when Denji's feeling demoralized, to conflict with Yoru's precarious moral compass, or when nothing important is happening. She had her moment earlier where she pulled that stunt to save Denji, but recently we've seen that Yoru is kind of learning how to functionally care for people and even if she's unhinged asf. Denji still likes her. I know Asa is on her hiatus right now where she "tries not to worry about the bad things and tries to sort herself out while Yoru takes the wheel. Maybe I'm an illiterate fool or we just haven't gotten our Asa payoff yet. But I don't see what influence she has right now, aside from MAYBE being the gateway for Yoru's feelings and being the personality Denji usually talks to when he's feeling hopeless. Asa and Denji don't get time to bond because of all the conflict going on and, in turn; Yoru is usually the one present because she's best suited for this kind of chaos. I don't see Asa and Denji's relationship developing very much, cause Asa’s NEVER AROUND for more than a chapter. Not even her and Yoru, because we never see them interact like we did in earlier chapters. I'm fine with Yoru being in the front row; Asa's development moves like molasses and I funnily enough think Denji cares more about Yoru than Asa at this point and it's because she's never given chances to interact with anyone and even when she is, she's conflated with Yoru (and who can blame him). Is Asa meant to symbolize that the more war we enact, the more we forget about our humanity? Or vice versa. It's hard to tell because one chapter is maybe a couple minutes worth of an in-world scene. So maybe when the part's done Asa and Yoru's divided arcs will seem more cohesive. It's just odd to me, its not as bad as in JJK, but it feels like Asa is getting the Megumi treatment.
