JJK ending was the worst thing that happened to CSM. After JJK ended, a whole bunch of unwashed ADD-ridden zoomer rapefugees rushed to find a replacement for their weekly shitposting, and for some reason CSM is listed as the top "similar to JJK" recommendation on every manga site. I guess because Crappa animated both. What made things worse is that the ending of JJK coincided with the Old Age Devil arc, specifically, the later half where the action picked up after months of characters talking, Yoru gained her gauntlets and was shooting shit left and right, and to an outside tourist the manga seemed like your typical people fight shonenslop with weekly dopamine gratification, just like their favorite JJK. So they rushed to speedread it, likely watched the anime first, then quickly binged it up to the latest chapter in a day or two, and then got hit with a terminal case of weekly schedule perplexity, whining how “nothing happens”, especially as the manga slowed back down and wasn’t satisfying their weekly dopamine rush with some ebin action any longer. The biweekly schedule also started getting prevalent exactly at this point which filtered them even harder.

Yoru's greatest declared fear is to "be forgotten", which aligns with her current supposed goal of creating war eternal. In her infatuation with America Yoru particularly mentions how it made her "desirable and attractive". Naturally such horrific goals create a wedge in her relationship with and creates conflict with Asa.

I think Asa represents the dawn after a harsh night. Eventually she will overcome Yoru and free herself and prevent Yoru from achieving her macabre goals

Power was nihilistic devil that deemed all life to be worthless and everyone to be untrustworthy so she always acted on her own self interest.
Her conclusion: She found worthiness in the life of another, enough to act against her selfish devil nature and sacrifice herself.

Nayuta was a kid that struggled with her own identity, she fashioned herself as Makima and proudly presented herself as a devil to gain a sense of self.
Her conclusion: She ultimately learns late that she's unable to find herself in Makima or being a devil, the irony being her getting killed by an extension of Makima's own will, which unmade control's goal of an equal relationship.

So what are Asa's main themes? continuously finding reasons to live no matter how disappointing, humiliating or painful life gets, her "crapburger" back and forth with Denji isn't just any theme, it's the MAIN THEME IN ALL CHAINSAW MAN, which is why she won't die.
The difference between Asa and Denji is that Asa knows what she lives for, a lasting meaningful connection with another.
