That's Asa and Yoru smiling because Shii-chan sent them to a dimension where they can both have sex with Denji at the same time. It's Denji's POV.

Let's talk about Yogurt.
Yogurt being, of course, one of the conclusions to Asa and Yoru's story, a fusion that expresses traits from both characters. What do you think she would be like?
1. What do you think is the connection between Asa and Yoru's characters? and what importance does it hold to the narrative the fact that they share body and brain?
Their naming convetion, "Morning" and "Night", aludes to an obvious relationship where they represent differing times of a day, to that point, Asa and Yoru seem to possess similar traits such as their insecurity and strong desire for validation, but due to their natures as a human and devil, they heed to it in contrasting ways.Throughout Part 2 they have always clashed in their goals, pivoting the theme of "war within" where Asa seeks to save and Yoru, to kill.
2. Do you think Yoru, on some level, expresses Asa's repressed desires? this is a strong point of contention that could shed a light in what Yogurt could possibly end up as.
Regardless if she does or does not, Asa definitely carries strong themes of repression to her character, so naturally, a conclusion to her character needs to address her demeanor and acceptance towards her own wants.
Asa also, much like Denji, constantly struggles with agency, her case being even more extreme due to being stripped of her own bodily autonomy as choices are made for her by others, usually antagonists.
3. Do you think Yoru can be redeemed? there is a strong theming of denial to Yoru's feelings as well, in particular she mirrors Asa's behavior in Chapter 98 where she pushes away feelings of companionship and romantic affection to avoid vulnerability.
Yoru's greatest declared fear is to "be forgotten", which aligns with her current supposed goal of creating war eternal. In her infatuation with America Yoru particularly mentions how it made her "desirable and attractive". Naturally such horrific goals create a wedge in her relationship with and creates conflict with Asa.
