>The Omiltemi cottontail rabbit (Sylvilagus insonus) recently reappeared in Mexico after staying out of official sight for over 120 years.
>Scientists once believed this humble creature had vanished for good, especially since it was last formally documented in 1904 and not observed again. Many people even doubted it was distinct from other rabbits until fresh evidence turned that skepticism around.
>These large rabbits belong to the order lagomorpha, a group that includes hares and pikas. Their habitat in the Sierra Madre del Sur mountains, a range in southwestern Mexico, has made them difficult to track.

1. What's the best and safest media for her to dig in?
2. Admittedly, she is picky about her hay. The bale is got from a farm, she tends to toss. The oxbow stuff she tends to eat.
3. She seems to like her oxbow pellets, and she gets fresh mixed greens every day
4. See above, she can roam if she wants to.
5. Could be hormones. Tho she's 7 years old now and was spayed when she was young. The mess making only started recently, so I'm hoping this is the cause.

Recently adopted a rescue bunny. Some Mexican dipshit previously owned her but kept her in a cage in a large enclosure next to his fucking PITBULLS. She's a 3 and a half years old Albino bunny. Initial vet visit said that she looked happy. This was a month after we had adopted her. Her primary diet has pretty much consisted of timothy hay, some mixed greens once or twice a day with a treat maybe once a week. Couple days ago felt a noticeably large lump under her chin near her neck. Freaked me the fuck out so immediately took her to the vet only to get some downright shit news. Looks like she has dental disease and that bump was an abscess. I had to pay 560 fucking dollars to get it drained, get it cleaned, get injections and two meds that I give her once a day. According to the exotics vet, this is going to be a permanent problem. They offered a surgery that POSSIBLY might fix it, but they say the odds of it coming back are higher than not. But without the surgery the abscess will continue to swell over and over again, which will have to keep being drained. Don't know what to do bros. After a while it's just going to be a matter of keeping her life comfortable until the time comes.

From what I understand (limited) rabbit abscesses are different from dogs, etc because you dont drain them, because the pus isn't 'liquidy', its more like removing something solid. But I've also read that removing it can be successful if its caught early...
If it was my bun I would try the surgery if its financially doable and hope for the best. Its a shitty situation either way, I'm sorry...

Herbivore is more of a classification of what they seek eating, than what they do eat. Rabbits horses, birds, and deer will normally eat meat when presented with it.

The problem with your goal is it will have unintended consequences. The borzoi is an example of this. Bred by Russian Royalty to be very docile, it carries over other unintended features like being super slender.

If you try to breed a carnivorous rabbit, you are going to also be selecting for a bunch of other genes, and the rabbit will probably not look like a normal rabbit.

I want to set a few things straight. What you see here is not an HDMI cable, it is in fact a dual link DVI cable. Meaning, the sound is going over a separate cable, that would be the TOSLINK cable, an optical cable over which signals are transmitted using a Differential Manchester encoding. Nothing too fancy, but it is reliable.
As you can see, there is no "subwoofer" and no "surround" setup. Loudspeakers are a complex set of nonlinear equations to optimize for as it is - and that's true for even ONE speaker with the most trivial D'Appolito setup and with low slew rate crossovers. Two speakers will already introduce QUITE the challenge to optimize for a regular room, given the reflections and room modes created by them. No need to introduce another piece of (considerable) complification by adding a subwoofer. Moreover, you will find that my Tannoy Lancaster speakers already pack quite the punch.
The TV, yes. Behold the Sony XBR Trinitron KD-34XBR960. The Finest full HD CRT TV ever produced. The pinnacle of an era. The undisputed master. I don't believe in LCD, those abominations can't handle camera pans. This masterpiece of technology will be fed, as stated, with the DVI and TOSLINK cables.
The film we're watching? Ah. Admiral Nakhimov (1946), an unsung masterpiece by Vsevolod Pudovkin, set in the Crimean War.
