Ironically, as I was reading your post, I realised I too play in acompetitive sense in BB i.e Matched Play guide etc etc. Perhaps it's something I took for granted or couldn't see as I played BB for so long.
The reason I brought this up is, 2/3 of my RT opponents have been furiously competitive and now as that, I too have started tuning my lists a bit. Kind of out of necessity. So I was wondering if people had experienced the same in /tg/.
In this case, my definition of competitive is a mix of bringing a list using the maximum competituve choices to maximise chance of winning above all else. Though I see your point for BB as maybe not as obvious due to team limitations too, as well as less time involved.
Guess I just need to keep playibg more people though one lad is quite nice so, not all lost.
