It's hilarious how christ-tards like you just openly lie 24/7 about Christianity and hide behind the fact that directly quoting scripture on /an/ is an instant ban.
No anon. The fact that animals supposedly felt comfortable around St Francis is nothing more than proof of his acceptance by god because your god can control animals.
No different from god making Balaam's donkey talk to him in perfect Hebrew.
It has nothing to do with helping animals and everything to do with god demonstrating his power over everything.
Yes, Jesus, like all other Jews of that era believed that kosher animals are the only animals fit for eating, animal-husbandry and sacrifice.
(sheep, goats, cows etc)
And that all animals outside of that apart from lions and eagles are evil, should be wiped out and should only be kept alive if they provide a product or service to humans.
This is stated in Genesis and elaborated on throughout the rest of the OT and NT.
Nothing in the bible even hints at "animal care". Or "not abusing your animals".
>Also, Paganism to my knowledge of greeco-roman and germanic mythos aren't particularly concerned with good animal care either.
Your opinions on anything are meaningless If you know so little about or openly lie about your own religion.
