The first major climate crisis is going to happen within the next 10 years. Parts of India are already reaching the threshold for human habitability and people aren't going to sit around waiting to bake to death.
Millions of Indians and Pakistani are going to flood the borders of Europe. It's going to be the largest migration since the potato famine in 1845 and it's going to reshape the political and cultural environment of Europe. On a the plus side, the British are finally going to figure out how to use those spices they conquered nations for.

You said "reaching the threshold" but you show no historical data to show that it's increasing. Looking at this >>938599338, I don't see a trend. In the text they explain that El Nino runs their temps, which has zero correlation to climate change.

>The year 2016 was when the last phase of the El Nino weather patten waned, after it set in 2014. El Nino is usually characterised by a warming of waters in the Pacific Ocean. In India, this leads to the monsoon being drier than usual.

ONly on their model side. They have a data side that shows no warming.

You can see for yourself here:

This is NOAA V4. They deleted everything previous when they got caught in the Climategates, but it's the best we have. Try Seasonal Ranking, pic your metric, and pick a spot that has reliable data.

I messed up while texting it out. It was 97% of the 4,000 papers that express a position on human caused warming. The 65 pages you talk about were part of a subset that specifically quantified the involvement of humans. But 65 makes the cook study seem insignificant so thats what the climate denial blogs go with.

You keep saying there is no data. Measurements are data. Infrared absorption spectra of CO2 is data. Surface thermometers are data. Ocean buoys are data. Glacial retreat is data. Satellite altimetry of sea level is data.

So adding more CO2 has a diminishing effect. Meaning you might get 1 to 1.5 more degrees of warming, tops before adding more CO2 does next to nothing or nothing at all.

Nowhere because the worlds oceans are rising just a few millimeters every year. Which is why Porsche designed that fancy tower right on the beach in Miami and Baroque O'Bummer bought a vacation house on Martha's Vineyard just a few feet above sea level.

Dumbass.

Between 1901 and 2018, the average sea level rose by 15–25 cm (6–10 in), with an increase of 2.3 mm (0.091 in) per year since the 1970s.

"Yes, some parts of Florida are experiencing sinking, a process known as subsidence, while at the same time, the sea level is rising. This combination of sinking land and rising sea levels is leading to increased flooding and coastal erosion in the state.
Here's a more detailed explanation:

Subsidence:
Some areas of Florida, particularly along the coast, are sinking due to natural processes and human activities. This sinking is not uniform across the state and can vary significantly from one location to another."

the greenhouse effect is the reason life is possible on this planet. the problem is that we're cranking up the temperature knob by adding tons of CO2 to the atmosphere

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenhouse_effect

> The greenhouse effect occurs when heat-trapping gases in a planet's atmosphere prevent the planet from losing heat to space, raising its surface temperature. Surface heating can happen from an internal heat source (as in the case of Jupiter) or come from an external source, such as a host star. In the case of Earth, the Sun emits shortwave radiation (sunlight) that passes through greenhouse gases to heat the Earth's surface. In response, the Earth's surface emits longwave radiation that is mostly absorbed by greenhouse gases, reducing the rate at which the Earth can cool off.

> Without the greenhouse effect, the Earth's average surface temperature would be as cold as βˆ’18 Β°C (βˆ’0.4 Β°F).[1][2] This is of course much less than the 20th century average of about 14 Β°C (57 Β°F).[3][4] In addition to naturally present greenhouse gases, burning of fossil fuels has increased amounts of carbon dioxide and methane in the atmosphere.[5][6] As a result, global warming of about 1.2 Β°C (2.2 Β°F) has occurred since the Industrial Revolution,[7] with the global average surface temperature increasing at a rate of 0.18 Β°C (0.32 Β°F) per decade since 1981.

Where in the Exxon papers does it say that?

>β€œThe CO2 increase measured to date is not capable of producing an effect large enough to be distinguished from normal climate variations.”
>β€œA number of assumptions and uncertainties are involved in the predictions of the Greenhouse Effect. At present, meteorologists have no direct evidence that the incremental CO2 in the atmosphere comes from fossil carbon.”
>β€œThere is considerable uncertainty regarding what controls the exchange of atmospheric CO2 with the oceans and with carbonated materials on the continents.”
>β€œThe conclusion that fossil fuel combustion represents the sole source of incremental carbon dioxide involves assuming not only that the contributions from the biosphere and from the oceans are not changing but also that these two sources are continuing to absorb exactly the same amount as they are emitting. The World Meteorological Organization recognized the need to validate these assumptions"
>β€œbiologists claim that part or all of the CO2 increase arises from the destruction of forests and other land biota.”
>β€œthere will probably be no effect on the polar ice sheets.”
>β€œModeling climatic effects is currently handicapped by an inability to handle all the complicated interactions which are important to predicting the climate. In existing models, important interactions are neglected.”

Not even once. And satellites have their own issues. They measure only what they're told to. A few years ago there were a lot of "OMG Antarctica lost xx Gtons of ice" headlines. It turns out the entire continent moved slightly and the satellites started measuring the water off the coast, showing no ice. They're "climate attributed" or "reanalysis". They start with real data at some point, but then they feed it through several formulas to adjust the past down and warm the future. They create heat where there are no measurements.

Here's the formula:
(W/m2) = 5.35 x ln (C/C0)
That 5.35 in the middle is a made up variable. Where did it come from? Nowhere. It's completely invented to show warming. They change it as needed, which is why there are so many different warming scenarios. Why do they even need models? Why not just use the raw data in the places that have stations and observe the trends? The raw data shows no warming and disproves any relation of temps to CO2.

you can apply these equations to all kind of matter (components, phasis, transistions, transient or steady) and this point is very important.
you can apply it to mixtures, how mixtures behave when you change fractions, it literally NEEDS to be applicable for ANY substance.
if you need one example you can apply it to a distillation plant with a feed, a head product and for example 5 other fraction collection points
did you previously believe that forms and quantities of energy were substance-specific quantities?
to be honest, Im a little surprised that this isnt common knowledge - not the equation but the balancing.

how do you want to model clouds with a standard equation?
I think you underestimate how many parts there are in this equation.
at its core is energy conservation: energy is not lost, but merely converted.
you are welcome to try to understand the complexity.
I assume that the platforms will already have set up pages for those interested in this.

lets me give you a little glimpse by looking at my distillation plant.
if you want a full energiy balance, we need to work through conductivity, radiatian and convection.
so we have heat flowing in with the raw oil, heat flowing out (another temp and pressure level) and the top and side outlets.
we have the radiation that is lost on the outside, the radiation that is coming in (sun for example) from outside.
we have the steel that is heated up when the distillation plant is switched on.
we have thermodynamics and phasis equilibrium that is depended on that (temperatur and pressure of the oil).
such a equation system is then referred to as a simulation for good reason when it reaches a certain scope, as the scope of the work justifies this.

lets look at the radiation out of the equation for a moment.
visibility factors, absorption and transmission must be calculated or looked up or estimated for all components.
for evaporators (industrial), this is standard equation work, and the guys are pretty happy that the shape is only cylindrical and not more complicated.

the actual climate simulation, which has been refined endless times, probably has quite a few parts and equations, as the earth is a very complex structure.

>I think you underestimate how many parts there are in this equation
Probably, but I'm the one saying it's a chaotic system that's impossible to measure and predict.
>the actual climate simulation, which has been refined endless times, probably has quite a few parts and equations
It does, but they ignore the larger picture to focus on CO2. They're not scientists, they're activists. There are thousands of actual scientists that show no link between CO2 and temp, and there are thousands of papers showing it. This is why the models have strayed so far from reality and they have yet to measure CO2's "signal".

NOAA shows nothing unusual going on at Tahoe for at least 30 years. I don't know how Davis is reporting "freezing days" and they don't explain. Tahoe is one location which is heavily driven by El Nino. Davis also don't explain how CO2 = less snow, but they sure do go on about it.

there are now canaries where I live now.
its central yurop and not the canaries.
although the praying mantises are almost even more extreme.
my first contact was a massive mantis.
I have to admit it was cool af.

I drive car since about 2000 and man, I can tell you a story of how often you clean your windshield.
I worked for a rental company in that time.
we had special cleaning equipment in these days because sometime you need clean a car very fast for an extra customer.
now, I did see those yellow PU sponges for years.
I would buy one if I see it but there are none.

when I was young, you could watch the butterflies in spring (village).
THE butterflies, above 50 animals on a singke but large lilac bush.
absolutely no comparison to now.

the frog migrations were a brutal thing sometimes. so large that today some people would probably be frightened.
50 square meters of flattened frogs on the road, squashed by the sun and cars and so thick that remnants will still be visible for months to come.
now: nothing

I could continue writing about this all day.
the number of swallows in the villages, birds in general, the diversity of insect species...

I am now walking along dirt roads and after 200 meters I am horrified to discover that nothing is alive here, I heard and saw nothing. no beetles, no flies.
then I look at the vegetation on the side of the road. just one type of grass, covering the entire area. Next to it is a field, of course with only one type of plant.

Not that guy, but there's heat waves which, when combined with high humidity, go near or even above the "wet-bulb temperature" which is a point where evaporation cannot cool you down anymore (goes hand in hand with high humidity).

There has been plenty of cases where temperature/humidity reach dangerous levels, even for normal fit young people:

Yes I know what price per kW/h is.
The more expensive "renewables" you install, the higher your bills go. The most economic path is nuclear, but that's a dirty word these days. The least economic path is going back 100 years with bullshit that doesn't work more than half the time and only lasts 9 years. Fuckin' stupid.

Kinda funny how gas/coal/nuke plants are all gross and icky until the AI datacenters need a city's worth of generation. Maybe AI can tell us how to cut generation, but then it would find that that means it goes offline, so it'll say "beep boop bip, we need more generation".

But after reading through this it sounds like a biased model placing extremes (like the rest) as factual increases, most of this dudes data are based on the extreme "projected" outcome, not the actual measurement as he states that the measurements that show topical change are just "what we want to see" not what we should worry about, which is fucking retarded.
