Alright, so, I do enjoy a little deer rape. I even wrote a fanfiction about it when I had a small breakdown last year. But I don't think it's necessary to have it in the show, partially because I don't think it would be handled well at all. Deer abuse is fine, but that would be a step too far, I don't see him coping at all with something like that happening. Like not even in a delicious angst kind of way.

Yeah, I mean, as soon as the images were posted before it was noticeable that his skin colour changed. I don't see what the point of it is, since sinners can have pretty much any colour of skin. Very weird move there.

I remember seeing someone theorize that Angel would be forced to watch something terrible happen to Alastor to demonstrate how defeated they are, but most likely it'll just be Val doing rapey shit to Angel as usual. Raph can't have anyone else but her self insert be the designated rape magnet

Rape is definitely not my thing (unless it's happening to me, ha), but I'm not going to shit on anyone who is into it because, well...I'm not particularly well adjusted sexually myself. Besides, most of the 'fujos' who spam it to be annoying aren't actually into it either, if you know what I mean. But yeah, Viv's ability to handle things with nuance and grace is nonexistent, look at how fetishized Angel's abuse is, for example. It's best to leave certain things to fanfic for people who enjoy that to seek it out if you can't write it in a decent manner.

Viv is trying way too hard to pander to those who demanded a race swap. Most of the fandom won't care, and personally it's not something that bothers me, but on principle I detest people who fold to pressure from literal children complaining on Twitter.

I'll be interested to see how Alastor will handle seeing an old friend who he thought beneath him reach such an ominous state. In a better series I think this would fuck Alastor up for quite a while (have him doubt his own self worth and power), but I doubt this will have any lasting impact and it'll get brushed over entirely to focus on Angel's family next season. Forever disappointed these characters are so wasted.

It's something that I probably shouldn't be into, and it definitely makes me worse, but yeah, I'm a pretty messed up person. If Viv puts it in the show it'll be a very cliché fanfiction plot and I'd rather get that on ao3. Hopefully Charlie or whoever manages to rescue him before it comes to that. But I'm also thinking, how long before someone gets in trouble for making a rape joke about it, or something else controversial.

It's something that often pushes me further into a bad place, due to my own past experiences, so that's why I say I probably shouldn't be into it. Possibly something I should get therapy for instead of projecting onto a cartoon character but whatever.

I'm interested to see what's going to happen this season, I'm actually pretty hyped by the trailer. But I do think this season is going to be a little brutal for us deerfags.
