It's not like I am really pro-idea that Stolas should have been totally a villain or some shit, no, not at all, but they definitely should have left the manipulative element of his and put at least some fucking responsibility onto his character instead of going full in on UwU gayboy victim. Stella being completely irredeemable is also retarded. I'd say it would be better writing if it maybe followed similar plot beats but with more nuance to Stolas, giving him darker moments, balancing out with him genuinely loving Octavia. Octavia should have stayed with Stolas nonetheless, which would actually given way for Stella's redemption by maybe actually having her live Octavia too and have Stolas and Stella reconcile that they both were often wrong in their relationship. Andrealphus would be the main villain, trying to manipulate and sway Stella into full villain mode but failing in the end. But they just wanted poorly written gay drama with Stolas as dindunufinn and Blitzo a fucking retarded cunt who they very poorly try to make a sympathetic "i can fix him!!!" character.
