How the hell has this movie avoided being put online in it's entirety when it has been in theaters around the world for about a week at this point? There has only been some people posting spoilers but nothing else.
im gonna go watch it in a theatre cause it looks good enough
Yea I plan on seeing it in a theater on Monday but I still find it odd there was no CAMrips made at all from the past week it's been out in other countries.
I'm not paying for anything with fart jokes or Awkwafina in it
>>149640709 (OP)There is no law that dictates everything must come out in all countries on the same day.
>>149640892I know that. Especially since I've seen the varying release dates in different countries with some like Australia not receiving it until a month after the US.
>>149640777fart jokes are kino and Awkwafina's nails on a chalkboard voice is kinda hot althought IRL she looks like a missing link
I will /co/nfess. I kinda forgot to check, and thought the movie will come out later this year. This feels too soon.
>>149641033Yea, the movie comes out on August 1st in the US while some other luckily countries got it a few days up to a week earlier.

See you on the other side
Thankfully no kids in the theater. When I went to the premiere of the first Bad Guys, some negroid family decided it would be a good idea to bring an infant to a 10pm showing.
>>149645834>some negroid family decided it would be a good idea to bring an infant to a 10pm showing. It's in character, they always choose the latest times
>>149645834No place around me is doing matinee advance screenings. They all start in the evening.
>>149645834>some negroid family decided it would be a good idea to bring an infant to a 10pm showing. You get what you deserved by not picking an earlier time to come.
>>149644522>tfw no brickhouse girly girl buff and sweet like a Now and Later
Katt's backstory was glanced over.
Also was she in cahoots with Diane in the past or not?
>>149648469Yeah it felt like there was a good chunk of story that was cut from the final movie.
We never saw what happened to Marmalade either. and it makes no sense that Diane being outed somehow absolves him of guilt for all those crimes he committed
Hmm... I felt like there should've been a CAMrip by now with it being out in Mexico today.
>>149649212The movie will definitely be more popular than the children's books its based on. That also bothers me that we have way too many movies that are based on children's books.
>>149649319That would depend on what you are into.
>>149640709 (OP)Probably because there isnโt much to spoil outside of something for shippers. I assume most of the movie is just jokes.
All I care about is to know if the villain girls are good or if itโs another Chameleon from KFP4 situation.
>>14964672910pm was the only showing they had on the night before official release date. I wasn't expecting anyone to be retarded enough to bring a crying infant to a 10pm showing.
>>149649319Blackmail leading to public humiliation
>>149649654The main villain girl is kinda underdeveloped; her backstory is barely brought up and she's just kinda like Wolf was, "oh people hate me because I'm a scary predator species so I'm gonna be evil I guess"
The other two are sorta bad but then turn good at the end
I wish to engage in sexual relations with the qt raven
>>149644522I was actually expecting it to be her in the dress because of this and was disappointed when it was Wolf.
Anyway movie good. Pigtail best girl.
>went to see it in 3D
>forgot that I paid for the 3D version because the ticket didn't have "3D" anywhere

>go out and get 3D glasses
>still looks blurry as fuck
>other people also complain it's blurry
>have to go complain to the clerk, who proceeds to move something over the projector to make the 3D work
that was annoying
The 3D was kinda meh, and during action-heavy scenes it looked like it dropped down to like 10fps. Would not recommend.

I just saw the movie. Literally right as I was thinking "Oh good, they aren't doing too many fart jokes this time," they do several fart jokes in a row.
Besides that I enjoyed it, provided I let myself just enjoy cartoony antics without judging the writing too hard. Kitty cat sexo. Fox sexo. Spider sexo.
I need to see more art of that bird asap. The sexual tension in the movie was insane.0m2jj

Now does Disney have the balls to do it?
It seems like more and more people are seeing the movie now. Hopefully someone will have a CAMrip out soon enough.
>>149649284That's Dreamworks bread and butter. Even Shrek was loosely based on a kid's book.
>>149651542i need a screenshot to see if they used portraits from the books, i love that shit when they use concept art or source material in some creative way

>>149651542That shit caught me completely off guard. So good
>McGuffinite actually serves a vital role in the plot ironically making it not a McGuffin
Just got back from the theater. The story was much more straightforward this time, and it feels like they had to cut a lot of material to keep the runtime low for the kids, but the visuals were still top notch. Like the first movie, the intro is very dazzling and sets high expectations for the rest of the film. However, the setup of the first two thirds is unfortunately more rewarding and interesting than the resolution, somehow. Wolf hot.
>>149648817>We never saw what happened to Marmalade either. You should have sat through the credits.
watched it earlier today, absolutely loved it. wished the situation at the end was a bit less contrived but it was a really good watch overall.

I like it as a technique but that's what it is, a tenique.
There's a time and place to use it, that said this film always used it pretty well in the first one so I'm confident that it's the 3D shit that's the real problem here.

>talking animals le escaping and le DANCING CIRCUS:OOOOOOOO
>>149667026Don't worry there is no way that Bad Guys 2 is going to have a good box office in comparison to Madagascar. Bad Guys is not as popular as you might think. Its about as popular as Sly Cooper and Sly Cooper which is the same routine Criminal Animal Anthros never sold grandiose. Bad Guys shows the same result fairly weak box office. Not up to Dreamwork's standard. And if sales go down there is no way Dreamworks will keep making Bad Guys movies.
Doesn't help that animal anthro movies like Kung Fu Panda bring in more money than bad Guys. So Dreamworks really has no incentive to compete with themselves they will simply continue making sequels for the brand that DOES bring home more profit. Even shitty ideas like Boss Baby makes more profit at the box office than Bad Guys.
>>149667139>Sly Cooper which is the same routine Criminal Animal Anthros never sold grandiose. It reminds me that some genres just don't mix well to the public eye.
Kind of sad personally speaking I myself would actually like to see an animal anthro psychological horror slasher too but that would probably yield even less money.
>>149667237The main reason it doesn't work is for starters anthro animals are seen as infantile trite. This is why in Sly Cooper and Bad Guys the criminals can't behave as legit criminals. If you were to go to a studio and say "Treat anthros seriously" you will be LUCKY if you even get an end result like Rango which is very much a serious film complete with realistic firearms. And how successful is Rango? Not much. And it really doesn't help that you can't do seriousness in animation remember the old stigma still exists, animation is for stupid kids just like you.
So animation and anthro animals? Good luck with that. It will be castrated even before storyboards. Humanity will never take anthro animals seriously because its such a far removed concept from reality. Robots on the other hand are slowly but surely becoming real so people take many movies and media about ai and robots rebelling and killing humanity quite seriously.
I think the most successful dramatic franchise about animals that are "anthro" is actually Planet of the Apes. It's the outlier. The general excuse seems to be that primates and humans are similar enough in terms of DNA. Whatever the reason this is the only animal driven franchise that is completely serious and has remained so since it started in the 60s. That's impressive. But use a wolf or a fox you are not going to bring home the bacon.
>>149667316>Robots on the other hand are slowly but surely becoming real so people take many movies and media about ai and robots rebelling and killing humanity quite seriously. So we need many movies about anthro animals always torturing and killing and cannibalizing humanity. Gotcha.
>>149667316>Humanity will never take anthro animals seriously because its such a far removed concept from reality.>That's impressive. But use a wolf or a fox you are not going to bring home the bacon.IMO it's all in the design. If you use a character with a toony design like Wolf ofc people won't take grim anthro animal content seriously.
However if you create a design like the Michigan Dogman, but a little smoother IMO people could take it seriously.
Take the Michael Bay's transformers designs for example. Many classic fans find them to be tasteless, however the general public prefers them over the Gen one designs.
I simply think the industry doesn't want to innovate and that's why they haven't tried
>>149642184Not enough fart fetish!
>>149667473Who knows, but design alone is not the only obstacle. We have other complications, for Bad Guys the idea is these animal anthros are integrated into human society as criminals. People can watch The Sopranos or Godfather but do this with animals and its going to be ridiculous. For example in the book for Bad Guys piranha belongs to a Mobster Crime Family can you seriously see this farting character be taken seriously even if you removed his shitty farting I don't think audiences will take that seriously.
And in general anthro animals even if they aren't criminals it's a concept that people don't care for. The public isn't a social outcast degenerate minority who is into furry shit.
I'd like to watch the movie.
>>149653516I got a boner at them kissing. That's normal, right?
>>149653516The only way they can up them is if the Foxy Dad shirt is true and he furiously impregnated Judy.
I had this weird dream of the Gala of Goodness being held up by the Payday Gang.
By golly, I think I'd bone just about every gosh darn critter in this movie. I'm actually exhausted thinking about it.
tfw you really just want to hold Wolf's hand though
>>149667558I watched it. I found it mostly amusing
>>149667548>it's a concept that people don't care for. The public isn't a social outcast degenerate minority who is into furry shit.I see your point. Looking at a bunch of movies by lifetime grosses and it seems like the only fully anthro film that hit 1 billion dollars was Zootopia. Even Sonic one of the most popular anthro animals couldn't hit 1 billion at the box office, while Minecraft got close and Mario hit that bench mark. Excluding films like the Lion King where they are basically just talking animals. Sure, you have a few "non-humans" here and there, but they are just side characters, or just monster-like creatures rather than anthro animals.
However, I also didn't see any robot centric film hit 1 billion dollars either aside from Michael Bay Transformers, but even that has a human cast that takes away attention from the bots.
The successors that took on a more gen one centric design ended up being less successful. (Even tho transformers one was objectively the best film of them all).
Most of the successful movies are just vanilla human centric films, with a few non-human (mostly they aren't anthro animals) characters here and there if at all.
>We have other complications, for Bad Guys the idea is these animal anthros are integrated into human society as criminals> People can watch The Sopranos or Godfather but do this with animals and its going to be ridiculous.IMO the only way to make it be seamlessly intergrated to appeal to the masses is as if the anthro animals are aliens from another world (transformers), living in a hidden/undiscovered continent like hollow earth, or an alternate dimension. If they are too be from the same world as humans then you'd have to lean heavy into the world building to explain to the masses why there are upright humanoid animals walking everywhere along humans, or even in a world without humans.
>>149667934>The public isn't a social outcast degenerate minority who is into furry shit. This is why, much to the dismay of our fellow furries if there is to ever be a massively financially successful anthro animal film, the features of said anthro animals must end up being as sanitized and desexualized i.e. (excluding human features that could be interpreted as sexual like breasts, hips, butt cheeks, and defined body builder type musculature ) as possible due to the general public not really being into things that border into zoophilic territory.
>>149668096That's ridiculous thinking. And Zootopia proves you wrong.
>>149668267>And Zootopia proves you wrong. How so? I am genuinely curious.
The designs for the Zootopia anthros are relatively safe
>>149668096>zoophilic territoryAnd yet they're fine with goblin shorstacks. Yeah, yeah, they're humanoid, they're still meant to be ugly and monstrous creatures that have to be killed. At least with the sexy animal people we have precedence in mythology.

>>149655043If only reasonably well adjusted women were creating media, pretty much every female character would look fuckable. It's the young and ugly people ruining it for everyone else.
>>149668267>>149668314Okay so let's say we could consider a few of the female cast members like Judy or the Shakira Gazelle as "attractive" well look at their chests.
Both Judy and Gazelle are relatively flat chested and the only thing truly defining them as females is their curves and waist. Even then they both are pretty much flat on their bosom and their chest.
Even Diane from the Bad Guys is pretty flat chested. It could also simply just be this modern era of the industry where when it comes to pandering to sexuality they try to be as prude as possible. I definitely think she has a slightly bubblier butt than Gazelle though.
Even Lola Bunny was bustier than these more modern waifurs.
Now keep in mind we are talking about appealing to general audiences not just a specific group of people really into a niche category.
>>149668403They are also fine with the blue avatar elves, and the avengers alien things. I guess Racoon rocket counts but he does the dumb thing where he basically says "Guys I'm not a heckin furry" for comedic value I guess. As long as it has a human face they'll pass it.

No chemistry whatsoever. They don't even feel straight. They feel like humunculus meaning Fake Humans so their biology is numb so they have no attraction or sex drive. Disney has been taken over by shitty Jews and shitty spinsters, shitty women probably stuck in lackluster marriages, s oy boys, and homosexuals. >>149668859Didn't stop Disney from making Elemental which is interracial but instead of organisms its using well....elements. Even so that has got to be one of the shittiest movies I've ever seen. I don't watch animated movies for romance, for one thing animation is infantile so seeing a bunch of characters behave like this...
"I totally love you but I can't say it's because you give me an erection not that you have breasts because that's illegal in shitty western media and you have an ass strictly because every shitty woman can become a fat ass tub of lard pile of shit."
Nope. The characters simply behave in abnormal ways in animation as such romance like genuine romance with the sensuality which is a big spark in romantic tension not going to be allowed as such it's all a shit show. And then you have the unrealistic pairings. I'm not going to believe for a second that a Beta Male is going to win the heart of the hottest chick in his social circle its why I hated How To Train Your Dragon that is a bunch of shit. Fuck you, just fuck you for lying. And may your mother get raped to death by a robber who breaks into her home.
Animation has no business doing romance because it omits the logical elements involving humane attraction. So fuck you. Not to mention in modern day especially after scandals like Adventure DYKE Time I don't think audiences are as easy to fool with bullshit like And They All Lived Happily Ever After romance fluff shit. Believing in romance is quite down in modern culture which is exactly what the Shitty Jews want. And out of kindness I must say the following, may a random incident brutally kill your loved ones.

Got no horse in this race since I know all western companies turn out like this thanks to the Jews. I want as many people miserable and maybe even better unemployed thanks to Jewry. I've figured out why Schaffrillas can't stand The Bad Guys.
James is a purist when it comes to animation. He views live-action films as "adult" and he views animation as "for kids, but allowed to be dark and have some adult themes."
The Bad Guys is a child-friendly version of an adult live-action film. It's the DNA they took from the books, which were send-ups of R-rated films Aaron Blabey watched as a child. You can tell by the kinds of camera angles and shots, the lens effects they get from mimicking life-action cameras, the romantic/sexual tension between Wolf and Diane, even the way the dialog is structured. All of it screams that it's intended for adults, between jokes about a piranha farting.
It goes against everything be believes, and he literally cannot process what he's watching. That's why he's so stingy about saying anything concrete about either movie.
