It is also curious that it does not work on Mokou, it could imply death is inflicted on the soul rather than on the body given some dialogue with her but I won’t delve into that. Maybe she manips their souls to make them kill themselves? I don’t fucking care. ZUN doesn’t care either. This is not a powerscaling franchise.
