Maybe its just me but 210-220 grain seems more the sweet spot for .45 acp, yet theres barely any loadings in that range its all 185(underweight), 200(good but not ideal) and 230(getting too heavy). You can still do well with 200 or 230 grains, but im talking ideal

China's PL-17 is said to have a maximum range of ~300mi, compared to the *very* conservative officially stated range of 200mi of the AIM-174B.
When looking at the lazy volume estimations, the PL-17 gets 4.25m^3 while the AIM-174B gets 4.72m^3, 11% more volume.
So why the range disparity? This stems from the PL-17 being purpose built to go as far as possible as the main and only priority.
That's not the case for the AIM-174B though. Look at the control surfaces of the thing, they're massive, indicating that it should have great maneuvering capabilities. Just like how the SM-6 is used for ABM.
So the idea that a PL-17 will be any threat to anything but a legacy tanker/AWAC towards the further end of it's range is pure bullshit, considering that nothing can actually carry it internally anyway. The AIM-174b can't be carried internally either, but it can actually hit a non-cooperative target.
I would include the R-37M but zigger shit doesn't exist so it's not worth talking about it.

I'll say as far as I know, the only thing it has going for it is that the other local indoor ranges are like a $300 per year small bore only one where you have to participate in matches, another indoor one where they literally advertise to chinese tourists in nyc, the one in fuddruckers that is also indoors and gets a lot of retards or driving like 45-60 mins to the out door range which is based because it's not indoors and they don't do rentals and they don't allow randos

How are the police in your country, regarding firearm handling and shooting proficiency? It's come to my notice the police here are absolute useless cunts when it comes to anything firearm related - unless talking about the specialized units.

The general cops here do a firearm test every 12 months, which is very basic, extremely easy, and as long as you shoot the target (wherever on the target) it's counted - i believe it was around 30 rounds as well. That basically means unless the cop shoots outside of work on his / her own time, they only shoot a firearm once in the entire year. I have a cop in the family who has been on the force for 6 years, that person has subpar firearm handling skills and cant aim even if her life depended on it. This has been the same with a few other cops I've met and even shot with.

If you were to obtain a license / certificate for example cash in transit work (armed guard work) your exam and shooting practical is more lengthy and harder than that which a cop takes.

Majority of the cops aren't even understanding / aware of the firearm laws regarding civilians on top of it all.

I shot some fuddy-five ball ammo with all the legendary stoppan powah for the first time ever, and the recoil was not bad at all. In fact, my glock 23 recoils more, and that doesnt recoil much at all either despite people always complaining about glawk fawty recoil.
