Count calories, all of them.
Eat about 500-1000 less calories than your TDEE.
Buy scales, be accurate.
Learn to cook. Try to stick to lean protein and green vegetables.
Eat a lot of protein. 1g per lb of goal lean body mass.
Doing cardio, even just walking, will improve your health. There is no such thing as a healthy fat heart, but you can offset the risks.
Lifting weights will keep and gain muscle mass and burn fat much quicker. No lifting results in the body burning away muscle AND fat.
Drink more water.

That's why extreme fasts don't work. What the other guy said. If you have a habbit of cheating, stop immediately. If you want to eat something that totally goes against your goals, plan it ahead by a week, and let it be small. No 35" pizzas etc., something from the children menu. It's there to add to what you usually eat, not replace it. You need to get to that mindset, it's what's up next when you start going into beast mode like me.

That sounds good. Remember to keep your fasts strict. Even milk in the coffee ends it.

You can throw in a veggie soup as a side dish to replace the fresh veggies from time to time. I posted a good minestrone recipe in the last thread with tips how to reduce cooking fat intake (which might add up to 15% hidden calories).

You could add more cardio, and if possible do it in the morning before breaking fast. If you do about an hour with a good heart rate it can burn up to 75% of needed energy as fat. If possible, you can alternate between cycling and walking to give your circulation and legs stimulus. Once legs start densing they'll be the main driver for passive fat loss.

Day 10 of exercising twice a day. Did my 3 minutes of crawling around, 45 minutes max incline treadmill, had my 6 eggs and an apple for brekkie. Last night was cardio because I'd already done a high volume lifting sesh on Monday and a heavy weight low rep Tues. Tonight's going to be another high volume lifting session. Feeling good. Stomach feels measurably smaller, but not feeling hungry bc of all these apples. Come Monday if I'm not fiending for a refeed will restrict calories by 200-300/day.

Day 2 of vampire diet. Stayed inside all day and had a serving of Huel for breakfast. Skipped lunch cause I wasn’t hungry. After sunset went for a walk outside, it was very cold and windy (perhaps I picked a bad time to start). After my walk, I warmed up some rice and chicken in the microwave, and had a tiramisu slice. Yum. 900 calories or so. No stomach issues yet but it’s strange how not-hungry I feel. Usually I’m used to always being hungry on a diet, so this is a good change. Feeling good to continue on!

I got 30 spicy tenders and 2 large fries for $20 the other day and have been eating the tenders for a couple days. I locked myself out of the house without my key fob but was able to start my car with my phone. So I picked them up and spent 8 hours round trip driving to my brother that had my spare key. For intense workout they're a must. I'm training PPLPPLX 100-240min sessions. Fatique builds and must be deloaded away. Without rest days the progression would plateau, and I'd have to deload every 3rd week instead of every 4-6 weeks. It's my body and noted data that tells me this, no formula or guide. So you can try to push it (only you know how intensely you workout), but when your body tells you to rest just do it. Injury would force you to rest for a long time.

I'm realizing one of the reasons I regained was because I'm bored and have a meaningless (but cushy) work from home email job. I was able to make the most progress when I lost weight the first time when I was in my final year of college and was studying both my course work and health science on the side.
