Tried to explain that there's no way you could ingest multiple related tables containing a quarter mil of rows each without immediately hitting a token/context limit. So couple of months ago I refused a job offer. Pay was low, colleagues were assholes joking at my expense even on the first day and boss is an asshole. There was a clause if i didnt stay with the company for 1.5 years I would have to give them back 4k euros. If i signed it and couple of months or a year down the road I was stuck with colleagues who bully me and incredibly stressful work and I couldnt even quit because of the clause, i would contemplate ending it. I disagree. The safety nets (welfare) is the bare minimum the state should do for you since you pay (a lot) of taxes into the system while employed.
Negotiating better conditions with your employer is an addendum on top of that. It could be better pay, yearly raises to outpace inflation, formalized paid overtime when needed, more PTO, other bonuses monetary or otherwise, etc.
To me e.g. it is absolutely insane and mind boggling that after all the pilot programs confirming that the 4-day workweek is objectively better for the employee _and_ the employer, we are not rioting in the streets to have it enforced for _everyone_ with no loss in pay.
