Well my mother managed to add a pin passcode to her samsung phone when trying to add some parking app. (My guess the women installing the parking the parking installed something else. She will never learn to not give her phone to random people)
The usual samsung passcode of 0000 and 1234 do not work; and it is asking for the pin to even turn off the phone.
Forums and other resources are all telling me to just factory reset it. Any ideas?

That's just media clickbaiting. If you take a look at how it works it's entirely tied to GMS and Play Protect.
You'll probably just have to disable Play Protect. In a worse case scenario you'll have to disable GMS and Play Protect in your app settings. And in the worst case scenario your phone won't be able to disable those directly in settings and you'll have to do it through adb.
Either way it's going to be entirely possible to install/"sideload" apps without needing root access or anything similar. The extent of what you'll have to do to enable installing unverified apps is something we won't know until the release, but we do know that it will still be possible without any warranty-breaking workarounds.

So I've had my Z Flip 4 for almost exactly a year and I think it's about to break. The screen turns itself on and off as you're closing it like there's a bad connection. And it doesn't open all the way flat. Like 175° instead of 180° so it'll rock if it's on a table. Seems like enough crap got in the hinge. I knew this might happen. Im ok with it. The flip feature is too cool so im just gonna get another one. Probably the 5 this time. Its only $350 refurbished so its a great price.

The huawei pura 80 ultra uses the same sensor for both it's telephoto cameras, has some mechanism to switch between them but it's not a continuous optical zoom.
The xperia 1 phones have continuous optical zoom on their telephoto cameras.
