Why, oh why didn't I take the blue pill?
Is it possible to believe in Christianity again after I've already taken the red pill on it being fake? Or am I forever outside of NPC Land and stuck in the real world now?

Lying to yourself in order to belong to some collective is about the most altruist thing you can do, Jesus would blush upon seeing your self-hatred.

I was sitting in a coffee shop a few days ago when a middle aged woman near me was loudly chatting with her two friends about her recent trip to the vatican, explaining pictures she'd taken. She went on at length, very excitedly describing a certain pilgrim ritual she participated in. Apparently, once every 25 years they hold a jubilee in the vatican, and one of the things they do is open 5 particular gates that are not otherwise all open at the same time. If you pass through all 5 gates in succession your sins are automatically forgiven. The amount of genuine excitement she had over this supposed reward for what seems to be a totally arbitrary ritual was a bit astonishing to me. It was clear this woman genuinely believed that by walking through these doors there had been some kind of cosmic realignment that would not have happened unless she had walked through them.

I don't understand how people can think that way, and I don't think you can force yourself to.

Yes, all it takes for you to believe in Christianity again is for Jesus, Mary, the Holy Ghost, one of the hundreds of saints out there or some minor archangel to actually show themselves to you, just once.

It's really that simple.
They can make you a believer again with an effort comparable to snapping their fingers.
Let's see if they choose to follow through

You're stuck in the real world anon, there is no escape.
I recommend reading some cool sci-fi books and convincing yourself some of it will happen in your life time.

Those who claim to be Jews today are not related to the ancient Jews though.

The human mind is a malleable piece of clay and you can teach it many things even if you don't believe it to be true. Simply telling yourself something is true and that you should feel good about yourself is enough to "train" your brain into believing in religion
>i just prayed
but you don't believe in prayer
>i pretended i did and felt better

there you go, religion. it's just a taught behavioral pattern

If you compare historically Christian cultures to all others, looking at metrics like scientific progress and prosperity, or achievements like ending slavery worldwide, there is an objectively superior track record on these positive metrics. That would not be explained by your theory, which posits that all of this is entirely subjective.

The only cope to this is by saying none of that matters, or that it's subjective, but you know that isn't true.

Apostle Paul would be very upset that you ended slavery. He told slaves to obey their masters as they would obey Christ, and was all for slavery and called himself Jesus's #1 slave.

I don't see how this relates to anything in my post. Also it's wrong.
>He told slaves to obey their masters as they would obey Christ, and was all for slavery
Actually, if you take the time to read the Bible, being under sin is considered the true slavery.

"Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."
- John 8:34-36

"Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness."
- Romans 6:16-18

>and called himself Jesus's #1 slave.
See Romans 6:22

"But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life."
(Romans 6:22)

That's not exactly true, while per capita europe is pretty great at science large civilizations like china were able to brute force a lot of innovations. Every one of their impressive innovations however were ironically from rituals.

Which makes me think about alchemy which was probably a form of primitive religion as even native americans worshiped metal and it's color variations. Even the hunter gatherers in the US "cold forged" copper ore

I was referring to Biblical Christianity, as in those who have historically practiced believer's baptism. The hand of God seems to be specifically with them and the countries they lived in throughout history.
