get ring bayonets ASAP, those make a huge difference, other than that just remember this is the game where gunpowder is king, every unit dies in a single shot and armour isn't really a thing in this time period so a well-timed volley can devastate even an "elite" unit
oh and unless they patched it out since grenadiers can throw grenades indefinitely, so if you keep ordering them into the throw grenade stance they're absolutely devastating, especially as the AI doesn't really treat them as any different from your other infantry units

Nephew made dinner for us (he's staying for some days).
Roasted beef with potatoes and white rice (summoning booma with this one), salad and some entrées, which consisted of cheese, bread, grilled (((alheira))). He also did a delicious turnip soup for the youngun.

Regarding games, I'm playing Cronus right now. It's a survival horror game where something bad happend to humanity, and in the future a society, or group sends people to try and find what the hell happened (in 1981) and how to solve it. Quite interesting game. The gameplay is not very complex, but the atmosphere and story make up for it. It also has full polish voiceovers which must be a plus for you.
