Best way to lock doors

I need to lock my doors against armed intruders. I have upset a pimp and his gang of retarded thugs after helping an underaged girl he was trafficking move back to Minnesota to be with her family. I live in a small town with nobody nearby enough to render aid if there's a break in, as the properties out here are separated by about 200-400 yards each. I have a dog I want protected when I'm at work as well, so locking from the outside is ideal too. I have received death threats for the last month in the form of letters to my mailbox, text messages, and phone calls. My temporary protection order against him was denied without a hearing due to lack of substantial evidence that harassment is taking place, despite clear and concise death threats. The girl is not filing charges as her family is simply moving into incognito mode, so he is free on the streets. He has 2 attempted murders on his record for which he served 7 years in prison.
I have firearms. So far I have put 14 gauge hardware cloth on all the windows, an accordion gate on the front door, and a steel security door (cheap home depot shit) on the back door, along with a few latch locks on the back door. I also put pvc pipes cut to fit all of the windows so they can't be opened as easily, but a brick though one of them after cutting the hardware mesh would solve that issue.
I am currently saving for real security bars on all the windows and cameras. I don't know what else to do, other than maybe proximity alarms and flashing lights. Sheriff's office response time to an emergency at my part of town is around 20 minutes. That's when there's an active break in, in progress. They're slow and useless, as well as potentially retarded.
