GQuuuuuux is pretty disappointing. I had high hopes at the beginning, but after maybe episode 5 or 6 I started to feel like they weren't going to do anything interesting with the characters, especially given Shuji was treated more like a plot device than a character. Little did I know Machu was also a plot device to get us to some multiverse nonsense.

I'll admit I've basically watched no UC stuff and I only started watching 0079 after I started GQuuuuuux, so maybe the show just isn't for me because I don't have nostalgia for Bask Om or Challia or the Psyco Gundam. However, I had hoped the show would stand on its own instead of needing to be a companion piece.
