My pick: any newer Porsche
These cars seem like status symbols for upper middle class people who want to have the appearance of being a car enthusiast. New Porsches are inoffensive, refined, and a little bland. I see these cars all the time where I live. They almost never have any personal flair.
What's worse is that a majority of the people who own these drive slowly. These "enthusiasts" brake to 25mph on every single curve in the road on my commute home through backroads. Landscaping trucks go faster than them. It's pathetic.
Inoffensive, no character/soul (imo), usually kept stock, usually painted a grayscale color, and a status symbol car.
Yes, I'm sure they have great driving characteristics, which is why it's an enthusiast car, but I still find them uncool.

You could argue they aren't worth the money, which is a slightly different argument, but that calls many offerings from many other badges like lambo or ferrari into question too.
I think a lot of exotics are very underwhelming in terms of what they actually deliver, and many people who buy them would have a much better experience of life spending that money on a nice luxury sedan instead, or a real sports car with the same performance at a fraction of the price - but I still respect the aesthetics. Which you know is what most people buy them for anyways. Something cool to post on their instagram.
Speaking of which, I would say McLaren has my vote for lamest 'enthusiast' maker. I can't think of a single use-case where they offer something that would be my first choice for. They don't really deliver a leading value proposition on anything compared to anyone.

I think you misunderstand my OP. I think Porsches are good, attractive driver's cars, but they're just too refined/sterile to be "cool" to me. Truth be told, I don't really think any supercars or race cars are cool, with some exceptions like the testarossa. Just not my thing.

What I find the most cool/interesting are tastefully modded everyday cars. A modded VW golf, miata, Mercedes 190e, etc.. Modded tastefully enough to show some personal expression and be unique, but not enough to look like a mexican ricer. Everyday cars which can be acquired by most people, so owning them isn't performative or a testament to wealth. An everyday car made unique from the owner's loving modifications, by an owner who actually works on their car. That's cool to me.

You can't really cosmetically mod a Porsche. It already looks nice as it is, pretty much anything you do will probably look tacky. So, very rare instances of added personal flair. It just seems sterile to me. Coupled with my anecdotes of the owners driving their sports car around curves like they are pulling a trailer behind them, they just seem... Lame. Going out of one's way to buy an expensive sports car just to drive it like a grandpa is lame. Something similar to the word poser, I don't know the right word.

I share this sentiment; I like it when cars are more modifiable than not, user accessibility in general; and levels of aftermarket support can be a major difference maker in the overall prospect of some cars over others, and which more niche/expensive cars can definitely suffer from.

This is true in an abstract sense; there are always ways things can be done more or less different, and some of those ways will be better than others.
It's just a question of extent. Some things are as simple as busting out a wrench and turning a few eccentric bolts. Pretty much every single vehicle on the road could benefit from better tyres and wheels and this is also probably the single most consequential modification anyone can make short of something like power plant or transmission swaps. And on that note other things can as involved as going 20k+ into the hole with rebuilding kits and at that point the pertinent question becomes whether a car that costs Y + B in work = Z is actually as good as an other car that is Z plus tweaks.
