Lmao, you do present a VERY strong argument against historians with the holocaust, I will concede that point.
So to clarify, while he is a role model for behavior, he is also Lord. Remember he was both human and God, so as a human, he showed us what a "godly" human would be like. This is interesting because it goes against what worldly people would expect a "godly" man to be. (which is why the Jews of his time were expecting a warrior-king).
I pray to Him pretty constantly. When I find myself in between thoughts about my duties and responsibilities, sometimes I am reminded of the spiritual truths of the world and I'll reach inward and pray to Christ to both thank him for all he's provided and just to be at peace with the creator.
I understand that prayer is generally seen as pretty dumb, but it's enjoyable to me. I love Christ, I love God, and thanks to my faith, I live in a world where I can engage with God on a personal level.
That being said, I am not unaware that this could all be delusion, and delusional people are not aware of their own delusions. So if it's all just cope and delusion, the joy it brings is worth far more than being seen as "intelligent" by the men of this world. I've looked at the game and put all my chips on Christ.
